I still think Cuckoo would have been the perfect summer song with the catchy hook being sung everywhere. Of course, I'll do the whole voting drill with whatever single Adam chooses next but if it was Cuckoo I would be a lot more enthusiastic about it than with NCOE. The main concern I have is that the local stations in my town supported IIHY quite a lot because it was the follow-up to a major hit. The next single (Sleepwalker?) was played a few times before being dropped and BTIKM was only given a few spins late at night before being dropped despite LOTS of local requests. If the 2nd single from Trespassing doesn't catch on with the public it could be even more difficult to get a 3rd single added to radio playlists.
I know we have to trust RCA, so fingers crossed it won't be an uphill slog for Adam & his fans for the next single.

Had rehearsal with @adamlambert yesterday. Brewing up something NEW and FRESH. Guess that rules out NCOE then. Cuckoo!!  I like the way you think.  Just putting one last thought out to the universe! Of course I will support the effort come what may ... hopefully RCA knows what it's doing and we'll all end up getting what we want sooner or later. |

Bruno Mars became Bruno Mars by putting his own music out there. Same with Adele. Adam's music is just as good as theirs, and as a singer and performer he's better than the both of them put together. There's only a limited number of singles Adam can release off of this album, the first one wasn't his, and if now the second one is still isn't his, well, I'll be pissed. If CK's and BM's songs were decidedly better than Adam's, I'd say nothing, but THEY AREN'T ! It's nice Bruno and Adele wrote their own songs, but it's not the main reason of their success. They're great songs, period. My favourite Adele song isn't even hers, it's a Cure cover. ( Love Song) I wouldn't be pissed if the second single was NCOE, but I'd definitely prefer Adam's lyrics:))) And regarding the bold, red part: they sure as hell aren't!!! |

IMO If Bruno's song and Bruno's fans and his name in general will help him break through the US and UK market and make it BIG, we WILL have another single written by Adam, Cuckoo or Trespassing. We had 3 singles from the first album why not for this one too? We are talking here, but we are not the ones who take the risk. I will support everything that they'll decide to go for.  |

Just a thought, but Adam needs backing tracks to do these songs right. It is possible that is what this guy is working on.

Gosh - I think we know just about everything except the name of the next single and when he is going to perform with Queen.
