[quote author=fooffyschmoofer board=daily thread=807 My issue with NCOE when Adam sings it acoustically is that the song doesn't seem to me to go anywhere, even though he sounds beyond beautiful. Dr Luke's role in production is going to be crucial and that makes me a bit nervous. I have a similar problem with the acoustic NCOE. It is very pretty, Adam's voice is gorgeous, but after the first couple of acoustic performances I lost interest in the acoustic version. The weird and curious combination of the beat (that builds, and builds, and builds...and hit hard ) and Adam's long ballad-like phrases and voice is what made me like the snippet. I too am a little nervous about Dr. Luke although I love FYE very much. [/quote] FYE is my favorite song on FYE....LOL

OMG.........you will be there to hear it!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooo excited! Question......the radio concerts, to include the Six Flag New England concert, do the artists get paid or do they do these concerts as a favor the the radio stations? I recognize exposure to the artist is a form of payment, new fans and hopefully fans that will be buying the album, just curious if they receive payment from ticket sales too. Radio is probably free. Six Flags would be paid. Thank you. For Six Flags it says 96.5 Spring Fling concert, wouldn't this be hosted by a radio station also?

Why do so many of you think NCOE will do so much better than BTIKM. I love BTIKM as much as I do NCOE and it didn't do well. Is it because NCOE is more uptempo? Is that the only reason? Or is it also because you like the song more? The reason I ask this is because I am having trouble being positive about NCOE for some reason but not sure why. I think it's because I enjoy listening to TP and Cuckoo more so than NCOE. I can easily picture a great performance with TP, especially, if he were to do it like he did in the UK performance where he was dancing to it. I can only picture NCOE being sung sitting down like with BTIKM and I am so ready for dancing Adam on idol and elsewhere on stage. Just my two cents for what they're worth. ;D Radio fans can't see Adam perform -- it's gotta be an ear thing. I give up and give in about song choice. Personally, I've only listened to the snippets once and just a few of the acoustic versions. I'm waiting for the CD in all it's glory. The internet is a wonderment but we really don't know how these songs are produced and as good as they already sound recorded on cell phones, etc. I can hardly wait to hear the "real thing". My only issue with TP is the southern drawly cajuny sound Adam uses -- must be left over from his time with Drake. No offense intended to folks from our Southern States, it's just not Adam and IMO it's not particularly pop or funk either. Don't quite hear the "southern drawly cajuny sound" but maybe that's because I am Southern....LOL....I just think that song reveals to us what he is really about...where is is coming from...and where he wants to go. I love that song...should it be the next single...don't know...I just know that I like it>

I'm thinking Adam may tweet sometime before the show airs something like..... tune in to the NewNowNext Awards Monday night to see me perform my new single "........" that way he can announce the new single and plug the appearance at the same time. I remember in one of the many promo interview questions about what the new single would be him saying he wanted it to be something people could dance and shake their ass to. Unless he is doing 2 songs on the show, the fact that he is rehearsing Trespassing is a pretty big hint...bet he isn't thrilled this guy tweeted about it since they have been keeping the choice under wraps. But then again, he could of just been doing that song along with a couple of others to warm up during rehearsal. Can't wait to hear the stories from those who attend the taping...
