And also from yesterday's thread, crispy said: My favorite lyric of all the songs so far is from Kickin In: " The sweetest seeds make the best trees!" Love that one! That line really stood out for me, too, but I was wondering what it meant in the context of the verse: She wants to be up there in the air where the clouds live the sweetest seeds make the best trees 30,000 feet she can smile and now... Sigh. I'm totally sleep deprived and have to go to bed, and I don't want to trudge off to Urban Dictionary. LOL  I associate 30,000 ft with the altitude a commercial airplane flies. Other than the person getting "high", I don't know what this song is about. |

I just read the whole twitter party and I have a question: Re Adam's Girl, doll, honey , and all the slang stuff, is that a gay or african-american thing? Or just slang in general? (I mean linguistically speaking, I hope this is not an offensive q) I picked up this vibe that he was in a really good mood, wasn't he? Oh, and also about him not writing Underneath.... Sometimes, songwriters offer their songs to various people, but sometimes they write a song for a specific artist, having his art/life in mind when writing it. I choose to believe that Underneath was specifically written for Adam and I won't let anyone dissuade me  And, Mika, the video idea is f'ing BRILLIANT, that's what it is!!! I choose to believe that Underneath was specifically written for Adam and I won't let anyone dissuade me And, Mika, the video idea is f'ing BRILLIANT, that's Yes Ms Aleksandra I think he was, and I like to see him feel buoyant. On Underneath, I think he said it really related to his life. One thing he highlighted was how sometimes he has to put on a brave face in public but is feeling sad or bad inside. Over the past three years, after idol and prior to Sauli (or actually i think even after he met Sauli), Adam was feeling the impact of some tough experience in love. And i think chokehold, sexy mofo of a song that it is, describes one part of it. And underneath may be linked to that too. Perhaps when his bio comes out decades from now, all our musings and wonderings will be sorted out. |

Taking a quick brake. Last night mia told me they cancelled her order for the Queen tickets she bought for me for both nights, due to the rules. So I was left with no tickets at all. Then mia and zinnia tried again with zinnia's account this time and they got 2 GA tickets for me and today they managed to get another pair of GA tickets for the other night. All I want to say is a HUGE thank you to both girls, that they tried so hard for me. I wouldn't have done it by myself, I wasn't able to be in front of the pc at that time and so many other problems. A HUGE THANK YOU mia and zinnia !!!

Glad for you Gelly and Zinnia and Mia that you are able to go. I'm also SOOOOOOOOOO grateful for Shev99 for her help with my ticket. It was definately a nightmare for me to trying to buy tickets. But I'm going ! |
