Yeah...I know this Jill person you are talking about. My son and I would take turns on different days to request BTIKM and she'd always give us the runaround until finally she admitted they didn't have it. It took all all my strenght to just politely say, "Well thanks away". Ugh! I wanted to say: Deleted gifis that guy holding a garbage bag and a gun? |

You did not need to call -- you request info for twitter and facebook here ---- spins.fm/ (super cool fun app) Wow. I Never saw that before. Looks cool....off to try it out...Thanks! It is cool, but it's not totally accurate and complete (missing some stations in my area, wrong twitter for others). RequestAdam stays up to date and if you have more info to feed them will add it in. I try to vary mediabase with texting for stations that have a request text number, and for stations active on twitter (i.e. those that respond to tweets or ask for requests) tweeting, and occasionally calling. If a facebook wall has posted requests that DJ's respond to, that's good too, but few do. I've bookmarked and sticky-noted all my local station contact info. Lol I actually keep notes in order to rotate methods but that's because I'm cray and can't not write stuff down.  It might be time to start requesting nationally from Z100 and Q102 again too? At least a few times a week until they spin. Oh---also I always request another few songs on mediabase too, to look more 'normal behavior' and have an alternate song request if I'm calling and they can't play BTIKM or NCOE. |

It has a plastic-looking squeeze handle, sort of like a mini-vacuum or something. Plus, there is a little strap for hanging it up flopping around. :D |

Thank you, Pi! I loooove Ted Talks! I have a playlist of my favorites, but not this one--so I will definitely check it out right now.  Quoting myself, so link will be there for anyone else who wants to check this out. LOL'ing because he gives visual examples of "snippets" from Beethoven and Pink Floyd! Well, I'd like a cymatic version of that snippet of IICHY I like so much--and ALL of the TP snippets, especially Underneath! Some business has already made/sells pendants with cymatic representations of WWFM...don't have the link handy, but they're cool. Thanks, Pi! Enjoyed this very much and added to my TT Playlist! |
