Adam Lambert is “Trespassing” in Toronto! The Glam rocker is here to promote his album that made history by debuting at number one in Canada and the U.S.
Like the album, Adam is open, honest and sincere about his take on life and the world around him, revealing to ET Canada that he often feels like an outsider. That feeling sometimes takes him to a darker place where he feels insecure. But he doesn’t let anything stop him from making his dreams come true.
This summer he will be performing with the legendary rock band Queen and promoting his album across the world. And for all you Glamberts, Adam is planning to tour in 2013!

Adam Lambert is in MONTREAL ! It definitely has more ears. Him either! It was that night in the studios of MuchMusic and gave an interview to a TIME and chatted promote her new album Trespassing ! He flashed his desire to nail polish silver, his boots and his imitation of crocro cut to Hairspray (he admitted that to keep his hair, he had no choice but to use hairspray ).

Adam Lambert appeared on MusiquePlus yesterday (May 30, 2012) during his promotional tour for his new album, Trespassing.
He was interviewed by Rej and Tatiana from Palmares, a MusiquePlus show. He was greatly surprised by all the attention that Montreal fans gave him.
In a recent interview with Metro, Adam revealed why he decided to compete on American Idol. He said, “I auditioned for Idol because I wanted bigger opportunities in my career. I realised I’d have a hard time getting signed to a label, so I did what I had to do to get myself out there. I just tried to make my performances on the show interesting. It was helpful I’d done a lot of professional theatre for ten years. I learned how to keep people’s attention, which I used to my advantage.”
As for his fans sometimes taking it too far. “I’ve learned to enjoy it. It’s charming. They’ll geek out and ask me to sign body parts. Fans have made dolls of me. Every now and then I’ll meet a fan who can’t keep it together and trembles and cries but it’s coming from a place of admiration.”

Adam Lambert’s sophomore album Trespassing debuted at Number One on Billboard (19 Recordings/RCA/Sony Records)
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert made history last week by becoming the first openly-gay artist to reach Number One on the Billboard 200 album chart, with his second studio album Trespassing which was released on May 15.
This week Lambert is in Canada on a promotional tour and – his fab hair fixed with Vo5 spray – last night made an hour-long live TV appearance at MusiquePlus in Montreal. Screaming fans – guys and girls – even sang his latest single Never Close Our Eyes (watch a video of his fans serenading him below), delighting Lambert to no end.
Meanwhile the 2009 American Idol finalist told Metro today, “I auditioned for Idol because I wanted bigger opportunities in my career. About his darker-themed new album, Lambert says, “There’s stuff about self-image and self-worth. There’s been times in the past couple of years I haven’t been completely sure of myself but have had to act as if I was. There’s a song about a relationship where you’re involved with someone who isn’t right but you keep coming back and Outlaws Of Love is about the struggle faced by the LGBT community. That one’s very important to me.”
Lambert told his Montreal fans at MusiquePlus that hairspray (“Spraynet!” he repeated, with a slight Quebecois twist) is a must accessory, and he said no wardrobe should be without a good pair of designer jeans, a black suit and one expensive pair of sunglasses. Then after the TV show, Lambert met with a few very lucky fans – including this reporter who could not stop batting his eyelashes.
