My 16 year old son has been listening to the streamed album and told me that his favorite track is Naked Love. Too bad that radio station PDs are too immature to play that track on the radio.

Just as we've learned so much from AFL's example, there's a lot we can learn from each other with much patience and a sincere effort to really listen. The grief over the NC Amendment vote that passed this week has had an immediate impact that was surprising and noticeable to a lot of us - people on both sides of the issue are talking openly about the subject and trying harder to understand each other and generally in very respectful tones. Very unexpected and bodes well for A Change is Gonna Come. It starts with each of us. I really love your post. Communication and learning will bring about change here and throughout the world. Adam will play a role in that change even though all he ever wanted to do was sing and perform for us his fans. He leads by example. I am so proud to be an Adam Lambert fan. He is a catalyst for change. He can't help it...he just is.  |

I am not saying "we don't want you on our site." I am saying please treat us with a bit of respect when you do visit that site. All straight people are more than welcome on any glbt site. Just please don't lecture us on how we should feel about gay issues, Adam's role in our community included. There is a big difference. At this point I am not sure if you are willfully misunderstanding because it is not what you want to hear or just really not getting it. This is not a case of reverse discrimination so please do not play the victim here. I'm not playing victim. You are still assume that I know nothing about gay commmunity and their problems when I'm more involved than you can ever imagine. Poland is not country that this things are easy, it's like US, sometimes worse. You are patronize me and attacking me when my point of view on equality is just different than yours. I once said to you that you are not the only one in this discussion with bad minority experience and I'm still learning from this pain but for you , as I see it, I'm just straight woman who know nothing about the pain of exclusion. I exclude myself from this discussion. Why not? It hurt less when you doing it yourself. Oh bb.  Its ok. Truly. Peeps on ATOP - all who care so much about Adam and other issues with the world - are here to discuss things with different viewpoints. Its actually the reason this forum exists. And when people feel strongly because statements have deep meaning to them, they often speak strongly. Don't go away sweetheart. You also obviously have a big heart and feel things strongly, and you are appreciated here.  |
