hoppers I know you have Adam's best interests in mind but I can't get behind this idea of tweeting Shoshanna so that Adam doesn't embarrass himself. In a way, even though it's a good intention, it's disrespectful to Adam. I think Adam is a very smart guy but he has his blind spots. Just like everyone else. But he's also a 30 year old grown man. If he makes a faux pas, like the one you mention, I'm sure someone in the UK will point it out to him. If it's on air or in an interview, then he'll have to acknowledge it and answer it. I have faith that he can do this and not come off like a doofus :-/. I don't think we need to worry about having Shoshanna coach him on what to say or how to act. JMO. [waves hands in air] Honestly, sometime when people make really odd mistakes, the people around them just raise an eyebrow and let it go. The problem is then, the person never knows they mucked up. And I say this having watched a really smart person make a really blatant, obvious pronunciation mistake over and over and over again until it kinda became a joke in the department. But no one ever told him he was saying it wrong for nearly 3 months. Finally, after a really big meeting where he did it yet again, someone took him to the break room and told him he was messing up. He was so embarrassed he nearly died...and then got furious at us for not telling him until that point. The issue was that it was such a silly, weird mistake that no one wanted to correct him. So no one did. Until he really had egg on his face. And I kinda feel the same situation is happening with Adam. No one want to tell him he's wrong in the middle of an interview. BUT HE KEEPS SAYING THE SAME WRONG THING. Which makes me think that, like the guy in my office, no one really wants to embarrass him by telling him, but him not knowing something really basic like what COUNTRY he first sang with Queen is starting to look really......odd. Actually the interviewer in Scotland where he made the mistake the first time DID correct him and Adam laughed and called himself a "stupid American". Since then no one has corrected him.

I am glad Adam and Co are having fun at this popjustice quiz thing, whatever it is. But are we the public ever allowed to partake in their entertainment??? I am trying to figure this out and cannot find any previous quiz rounds or anything else besides their FAQ page which is entertaining, but not very useful, to say the least. Anybody know a bit more about this? Thanks

I really don't think Adam is the kind of person or at the point where people are afraid to say something for fear of embarrassing him. I certainly think Neil or Eber would have something to say. I know for a fact that people have tweeted him about it before. Maybe it's a mental block with him, IDK. But if someone is really offended and says so to Adam then he'll have to deal with it. I just don't think it's our job as fans to alert his management to make sure he doesn't say or do the wrong thing. IMO that's treating him like a child :-/.

Kerry Moyles @kerrymoyles Insanely organised radio producer. Amazing cupcake maker. Wife to Kieron - a true gent. These views are my own, not my employer or members of my family. Leafy Highgate, North London ·
Kerry Moyles @kerrymoyles In a quiz playing against @adamlambert , @megancarver & @shoshannastone. Feel that they may have a ringer for the American Idol round.
