Maybe it's a mental block with him, IDK. But if someone is really offended and says so to Adam then he'll have to deal with it. I just don't think it's our job as fans to alert his management to make sure he doesn't say or do the wrong thing. IMO that's treating him like a child :-/.  Hell, I have a mental block about two sets of people who sound so much the same to me on the phone I have to (literally, no joke) put a large sticky on the table during teleconferences saying: YOU ARE TALKING TO "X" or I get their names mixed up every single, freaking, g-damn time. That said, I do *not* feel like I'm being put down when my colleagues say (or frantically sign across the room) "Gurl - you're messing them up again". I just feel truly grateful that they're letting me know. Because I *do* mess up. And, yup, its just a stupid mental block. But I don't like sounding like an idiot when being judged on a professional level, particularly dumb stuff that doesn't have anything to do with my normal qualifications, but yet could reflect on them. YMMV :D  ;D |
