Thank you illuxxia As everyone probably knows, this is from an interview on Saturday where the interviewer asked Adam what requirements he had for his dressing room. Just veggies (carrots) and water for the most part. Here's a little blurb about Madonna on her tour. Can't help wonder what Sasha (and M.) think of all this after touring with Adam... : wonderwall.msn.com/music/the-shortlist-for-june-25-20286.gallery?photoId=87213
Wow! I'm sorry but she's not all that! Good lord, I'd be afraid to be in her presense lol! :

Happy to get that 15,000 head count from yesterdays fantastic concert. I bet 15,000 people went away impressed with our boy. I hope he made some new fans that will check out his album.

What would it take to convince the people going to the Queen concert to bring an extra suitcase to fill with t-shirts sold from Hammersmith? I know I would surely buy one of those.

Doesn't the Queen site have a "store"? Maybe they'll be available there... I don't have the site address handy, but I'll bet someone here does.

hah! Love the carrot gif, will have to try to edit it for an avi On requesting, I think it is possible that DJs may not be getting as many calls as other forms of requests, so if you haven't been calling, and want to step up your efforts a bit in addition to texting and tweeting, that's a great way, and now is definitely the time. Some notes about calling:a) If you haven't been listening to the station for 20 minutes or so before you call, you can look up their 'last played' list on their site if you want to be sure that they didn't just play NCOE and see what they did play. But even in the unlikely event that they did just play it and say so, you can say 'great!, I just tuned in, sorry I missed it, but thanks for playing.' b) The phone will usually ring for a long long time before they pick up. Just put it on speakerphone until they do. If there is no DJ there at that time, it may eventually click off, that's fine, try a little later. Some fans have had the most luck when a DJ starts their shift (you can see on the website of the station). c) If you are shy don't worry, the call is usually really, really short and routine. It usually goes like: DJ: hello? me: hi! can I make a request? DJ: sure me: I'd love to hear Never Close our Eyes. DJ: I'll try, or we don't have it, or blah blah blah (this part doesn't matter). me: okay thanks! or thanks anyway! or love the show! If I have a chance to respond before they hang up. It usually is just a few seconds for the whole call. (and by the way for HAC stations their audience target is up to 54 or so, so I wouldn't worry too much about the sound of my voice.) d) Reading around I found a radio expert on All-Access saying that the primary age group that likes to and does call into their station is under-25, the CHR age, so I'd expect that these stations probably pay particular attention to calls and texts. ------------------------------- NCOE needs requesting support both for stations that haven't added and one's that have (because they can slow spins). I agree that MyS*&@^#r's list of Q102 and then WKTU, Z100, Sirius are ones fans from everywhere should focus on. During SNOL the DJ talked about getting skype requests for 1 Direction from Switzerland and Norway. atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=daily&thread=973&page=7#262865I've tried to bring over useful information and lists, but realize that a) there is always info left out, and b) it's overwhelming sometimes. Really there is one simple thing to do. However it requires following a link and looking through a list. But that's not too difficult right? . Follow the RequestAdam links below for your Top 40 and HAC stations.
Look up your stations, and you will have their phone, text, twitter, FB, mediabase and website. Look at their website, it will usually have a 'contact' link or mention of how to request if you want to know what they prefer.
Copy this information onto a virtual sticky-note on your computer, or enter it into your phone. Then it's always there. I try to do requests in the morning with breakfast, or do calls and texts when waiting in the car. Once I've typed out the message once, I can just hit 'resend' daily or 'forward' to a new station/text number. For my local stations I text and mediabase everyday, which takes no time, and I'm going start calling more often as well. requestadamlambert.com/usradiotop40/requestadamlambert.com/usradiohac/requestadamlambert.com/usnational/ EVERYONE CAN DO THESE requestadamlambert.com/canradiotop4/requestadamlambert.com/canradiohac/

I just called Z100 using the number printed here. I waited while the phone rang and rang. I was expecting a computer generated response system...if there was a response.
Finally the phone was answered, with a human male voice that said: Yes?
I said "Please play NCOE...Never Close Our Eyes". The male voice responded with "I'll try to find it"> I know this means nothing if the song is not on the playlist. But I made my request.
