When we knew that Adam was doing "something" at the EMAs but we didnt' kow what, exactly. Then we were all watching, on line, and the opening notes of Show Must Go On, started and there was Adam's silouhette in the dark, I screamed "OMG!" and burst into tears, sobbing! DH ran from the next room and said, "What happened? What's wrong?!" LOL! Me, "Oh nothing. Happy tears." I think for these full shows I'd better lock myself in a room with the door locked! ;D Thanks for the flashback! Adam tweets about the EMAs. We ask "Is he just attending? Doing an intro?" He refuses to tell us, the tease. Just says it will be worth it. Then the rumors of "Queen, Queen, Queen." Could there possibly be a little Queen medley with Lady Gaga, Adam, and a bunch of other artists to pay tribute? Wouldn't it be cool if Adam is included in such an honor? Oh, no! I will be visiting my folks. No internet access. Disaster. Mobile mi-fi, you say? SAVED! Watching the Green Bay Packers with Dad but keeping one eye on the laptop screen, headphones at the ready, just in case we see Adam talk/sing. Pleeeeeeeeez. (Touchdown? Oh, yeah, go Pack!) pleeeeeeeeeeez, Adam. It's almost the end of the program. Wrapping up, final act. Insipid little pop girl saying, "Your global icons: Queen!" (no Adam mention. sigh. it's not going to happen. knew it was too good to be true)  THAT'S ADAM FUCKING LAMBERT STANDING ON STAGE WITH QUEEN. ALL BY HIMSELF. FIERCE. [Act cool, act cool, don't let Dad see you jumping up and down with joy for Adam. Inappropriate! One only does that for the Packers, not for a singer.] OMG! HE IS ABSOLUTELY KILLING IT. AND A SECOND SONG --- STILL JUST ADAM. .... NOW WATC, (the way it should have been sung on Idol). THAT'S OUR BOY!!! HE HAS ARRIVED! (Hmmm? Oh, yeah, Mom and Dad, Adam was on the show. Yes, he sounded good. He was singing for Queen, one of the most famous, iconic rock bands in the world. Never heard of them? ... Well, no, not quite as big as the Beatles, but close. Um, what's the score? Are the Packers still leading?) [OMG! OMG! ADAM. + QUEEN! What's the superlative higher than "epic"?] [fist pump] Go! Adam! Um, I mean Go! Packers! |

Haha....loved both your EMA flashbacks, mys*&@^#r and cassie! Mine was similar....I had convinced myself that Adam would be lucky to get a small part in a Queen medley....
....the fact that it was just HIM. Alone. With Queen. GAH! It was almost too much for me to process!
and now - KIEV!!! SQUEEEEEE!!

Using your phone abroad might be very expensive, it is really important to contact your operator and find out the best rates, that your phone actually works in your destination, perhaps how to choose the operator there manually, how to avoid unnecessary data costs etc. I found a relatively less expensive solution for phone and wifi outside the U.S.: www.tepwireless.com/ I'm picking it up at the airport and will be able to connect my computer & iphone & kindle to the internet were ever I go via this small pocket wifi (hope it will work as promised  ) |

General requesting question - sorry if it has been answered before!
I have always used media request forms to request at all the NY and Conn stations but after reading a post this week about how texting is more effective, I have been trying that.. and having a problem...
been texting for example, wktu in NY at the text number provided on page 1 which is 31035 (after signing up) and a msg like PLAY LAMB or PLAY NEVE (as instructed by text response from stations when I tried to put in pls play never close our eyes by adam lambert thx) and I keep getting NO MATCH FOUND. I have gotten this msg from z100 too. Can anyone see what I am doing wrong, or has this problem. OTherwise, I will go back to mediarequest forms.

Just jumping into thread here. Vecadam and I are sitting in Hong Kong airport waiting for our flight to Moscow in half an hour. Bloody long flight to here (11.5 hours) and now 10.5 hour flight to Moscow *groans* BUT, Moscow here we come! QUEENBERT FTMFW!!! Catch you all on the other side  |

The correct text for WKTU is Play LAMB. That should work every time. It is in their dsta base. For Z100 make the message longer, like "Please play NEVER CLOSE OR EYES - Lambert" For WPLJ, " Request NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES" should work Hope this helps |
