When we knew that Adam was doing "something" at the EMAs but we didnt' kow what, exactly. Then we were all watching, on line, and the opening notes of Show Must Go On, started and there was Adam's silouhette in the dark, I screamed "OMG!" and burst into tears, sobbing! DH ran from the next room and said, "What happened? What's wrong?!" LOL! Me, "Oh nothing. Happy tears."
I think for these full shows I'd better lock myself in a room with the door locked! ;D
Thanks for the flashback! Adam tweets about the EMAs. We ask "Is he just attending? Doing an intro?" He refuses to tell us, the tease. Just says it will be worth it.
Then the rumors of "Queen, Queen, Queen." Could there possibly be a little Queen medley with Lady Gaga, Adam, and a bunch of other artists to pay tribute? Wouldn't it be cool if Adam is included in such an honor?

Watching the Green Bay Packers with Dad but keeping one eye on the laptop screen, headphones at the ready, just in case we see Adam talk/sing. Pleeeeeeeeez. (Touchdown? Oh, yeah, go Pack!) pleeeeeeeeeeez, Adam. It's almost the end of the program.
Wrapping up, final act. Insipid little pop girl saying, "Your global icons: Queen!" (no Adam mention. sigh. it's not going to happen. knew it was too good to be true)
THAT'S ADAM FUCKING LAMBERT STANDING ON STAGE WITH QUEEN. ALL BY HIMSELF. FIERCE. [Act cool, act cool, don't let Dad see you jumping up and down with joy for Adam. Inappropriate! One only does that for the Packers, not for a singer.]
OMG! HE IS ABSOLUTELY KILLING IT. AND A SECOND SONG --- STILL JUST ADAM. .... NOW WATC, (the way it should have been sung on Idol). THAT'S OUR BOY!!! HE HAS ARRIVED!
(Hmmm? Oh, yeah, Mom and Dad, Adam was on the show. Yes, he sounded good. He was singing for Queen, one of the most famous, iconic rock bands in the world. Never heard of them? ... Well, no, not quite as big as the Beatles, but close. Um, what's the score? Are the Packers still leading?)
