Don't even get me started on parents who put their children - with children being the operative word - into the "spotlight" and then are shocked when the spotlight drops on their heads. I guess wanting your children to be successful is human, but I often wonder exactly who they are looking for the glory for - is it really the child?
To tie this back to Adam - Eber and Leila did a spectacular job of letting Adam find his place to shine without pushing him to quickly, a balance lots of people miss the importance of.

. I have not seen anyone here trash this girl as a person. The song is a different story. Nor do I believe that any of our members have been posting nasty things on her YT.

Are we still looking for pictures for Bridgey for the VF mock up page? What about the picture of Adam from Las Vegas (I think) of him standing in the long Sleepwalker coat next to the pool- he's alone and I think the shimmery water looks cool. I'm at work, and it's not on my computer here. Does anyone else remember the picture I'm thinking of? cookie you mean this one??? I dont have a bigger version sorry :( That's a cool photo. I have one in my head that I have seen somewhere that would be perfect for VF I just have to search around a bit for it when I have some time - unfortunately that won't be today.

Well, if she's going to put herself out there (and with a song that is crap, no less,) she'd better get used to harsh comments. No entertainer is immune to them. It goes with the territory. And You Tube, is known for that. I'm sure they wanted the video to go viral and now it is. Did her mom expect people to talk about how wonderful it is?! Really? :-/ She'll probably get over her hurt when the song starts selling on i-Tunes. If anyone is interested, here is an article from the Houston Chronicle today about her video: www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/life/main/7478570.html

Of course i'll do whatever i like but what makes you think that I try to put someone else's light out?? Is someone going to listen to what i say about being shit?Do i blow a horn and say to everyone "DONT BUY THE SONG"? Did you see me going on to her YT vid and bully her??? I'm in a forum with my FRIENDS and i express my opinion, NOTHING more NOTHING less. I say something and that's it, i forget about it. I dont try to make a conversation out of it and i really dont care if she makes a hit or she doesnt.

They probably could have pushed him into becoming a child star, but didn't. They did it perfectly, didn't they?! So much about Adam's rise, seems to have happened at the exact perfect time, for him! The cruise, Hair, Burning Man, Wicked, Idol - just a perfect progression in the development of who he has become now.

This is so well said. It is exhausting these days to see news about young people being exploited by adults, or bullied by peers. I know it has always been a part of life, but always so sad. at least with social media today more individuals are aware of the problem and more action (the Trevor Project) is being taken to curtail abuse. "The Door Bell!!" It is here.!!!! Oh, and I have company coming tonight. Can I wait?
