Don't even get me started on parents who put their children - with children being the operative word - into the "spotlight" and then are shocked when the spotlight drops on their heads. I guess wanting your children to be successful is human, but I often wonder exactly who they are looking for the glory for - is it really the child? To tie this back to Adam - Eber and Leila did a spectacular job of letting Adam find his place to shine without pushing him to quickly, a balance lots of people miss the importance of. Yes, they did! They probably could have pushed him into becoming a child star, but didn't. They did it perfectly, didn't they?! So much about Adam's rise, seems to have happened at the exact perfect time, for him! The cruise, Hair, Burning Man, Wicked, Idol - just a perfect progression in the development of who he has become now.  I love you, both of you.You express soo well what i want to say.  |

Adam and George Michael are now following each other on twitter .. lol I was just reading an article in the Guardian newspaper last night giving George Michael a crash course on twitter. www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2011/mar/20/crash-course-how-to-tweetOne of their suggestions was that he should start making some twitter friends. I guess he followed their advice and chose Adam! |

. I have not seen anyone here trash this girl as a person. The song is a different story. Nor do I believe that any of our members have been posting nasty things on her YT. yes, wow....I just came back after "a wee little break" and it's deja vue. no one here is trashing the girl....her song is insipid - and her parents should have anticipated the negative feedback. If I read correctly, it sounds like she'll be getting some sort of recording contract - not too worried about her......and I believe her success is is what gelly was referring to with her "floating do do" remark. Haha! |

Our UPS deliveries always seem to come around 5:00 p.m. I was really hoping it would be here early today. But, not yet! Maybe I should start wandering around the streets looking for UPS trucks and flagging them down? What do you think?!  |

It's only 2:00 here. But how can I watch it 10 times on the first day if it doesn't get here until 5 or 6?! ;D |

Had a little viewing party with the family on the weekend. My husband almost squeed during Ring of Fire (his favourite along with Strut). He would KILL ME if he knew I posted that! LOL! |
