. I have not seen anyone here trash this girl as a person. The song is a different story. Nor do I believe that any of our members have been posting nasty things on her YT. yes, wow....I just came back after "a wee little break" and it's deja vue. no one here is trashing the girl....her song is insipid - and her parents should have anticipated the negative feedback. If I read correctly, it sounds like she'll be getting some sort of recording contract - not too worried about her......and I believe her success is is what gelly was referring to with her "floating do do" remark. Haha! Um, I missed the start of this discussion. Who? What? Why does Adamtopia care? If it is this Rebecca Black chick, ummmm, insipid song? Yup. Totally and very obviously autotuned from start to finish? No question. Song is 90% one note? Your point? Is it really that much worse than "Whip my hair"? Not that I can tell. Is it possible to underestimate what will be big in pop? Nope. Why the hell did I even bother listening to it? I have no idea. Damn! I wake up every morning with some song in my head --- sometimes the most obscure things I have heard only once or twice, years ago. I hope this song never makes my brain's play list. Quick! Gotta play Adam's concert CD and hope it erases that song from my brain. |

I am so jellus of everyone who has received/is receiving their GNT package. Barnes and Noble is not giving an inch. I hope it ships tomorrow as expected.

I've pretty much stopped voting in these types of polls. They're either being manipulated for hits like the MTV one, or end up making Idol acts and their fans look ridiculous (when megastar artists get few votes and someone like David Archuleta cleans up.....it's comical).

I have a feeling that tomorrow when i wake up the thread will be only 2 page more than it is now, LOL everyone is going to be in front of their TV's watching the DVD. Good for all of you!!!!
