Ohhh...getting angry, really should stop reading Mj's. They're debating on whether playing an instrument equals a real artist/musician versus someone who just sings. And someone made this statement, "I would think the idea is that to write a song you have to play an instrument of some type. Anybody can sing." I don't know why, but this just really get on my nerves. Don't know why people equate someone who strum a few chords on a guitar, or play a few notes (and not all that good if I might add) as some serious musicians. And I really don't know why they seem to think that you can't write songs if you can't play an instrument, and that you automatically can write if you can play an instrument. I mean there's so many computer programs out there that can bring your musical vision to life, without you knowing how play, or even know how to read music. Well, Michael Jackson didn't play an instrument, did he? I think he wrote some pretty successful songs. And whoever said, at MJ's, that anyone can sing....have they heard this girl's Youtube we've been talking about today! ??? Statements like the one you posted from MJ's is the reason I quit going over there. I have no patience for stuff like that....guess that's why I was put into 'moderation' there. :  |

I can't even get worked up about it because it's so ridiculous. : Re: AftermathRemix, I love it so much but I can't believe there isn't a radio edit. I can't imagine what they're thinking sending an over 5 minute song to radio. :-/ My (almost) 13 year old daughter loves it and that's great because she really has not listened to a lot of Adam lately. But even she has commented that it's a really long song. |

Just got my email that my CD/DVD orders have shipped - skipping like a 12 year old! Should be here in a couple of days.
And on top of that - received my Movie Star magazine with beautiful pictures of Adam, the band and dancers. DH was impressed with the super high quality of the pictures (he used to be in the printing business and we spent 10 days in Japan years ago looking at printing machines, all expenses paid for by the Japanese company!). His eyelashes are so long and thick. His lower lashes are even longer than my upper lashes - not fair! So very worth the price I paid.

Didn't Megan Joy pretty much disprove that assumption? Hey, Zinnia, what does "tutka" mean? I think ALL OF SEASON 9 disproved that assumption. lololol ^^Haha yeah, but I think the right saying is that, anybody can sing, but not everyone can sing well ETA: This Keri Hilson song sucks, don't hate cause I'm beautiful, Ohh loving the Avril though. Yeah I always had a hate for pop radio, well most of it, so hard trying to listen to these things for Adam, almost like torture most of the time :( |

For example, I am sending it to my daughter-in-law who came with me to the concert, but she has five kids (four under 12). I don't know what her values are in relation to any swearing in front of the kids so I will put a sticky on it that says I think it is for mature audience (language) on the first viewing and then she and her husband can decide from there. Since I won't be there when they watch there is no way they will know when the motherfuckers and shit bombs will happen. They are fine with it themselves, but as mentioned, with all those kids it is not my place to decide. So yes I think a little "heads-up" is OK... Back to reading the tread ;D |

Gelly and Msrym I have posted that same moment in time before and never has anyone other than maybe 2 people commented on that capture. I had a PF'er volunteer to do a capture pic for me. At least I know now 3 people who are as bad as me. To me silver pants can't even compare ...but I thought maybe some thought it was a bit too intrusive, therefore no comment. It is in my pic files and when everyone else is "oohhing an awwing" over other such pics I wander back to this moment. However my pic display is a tad smaller. Your capture is BETTER. I think only 2 people are allowed to comment on this type of pic. It's in the rules, fine print, on the bottom of page 4 in the rule book.  |
