Yes I agree that Freddie's version is a bit more...frenetic. Brian and Rog are getting a bit older

A quick in between songs moment to let you know that in the UK Brian May & Kerry Ellis released their single Born Free a cover of a famous 60s songs for a film that was made to help wildlife. Their cover is also meant to help save endangered lions.

Beauitufl song and the video here shows Brian playing a different guitar than the Red Special! I can't hear it quite well at work - it'll have to wait til later when I get home but it's possible he played the Red Special in the studio and used this guitar for the video - he's done that before

- A very interesting song, gritty. It actually is a good indication of what his early solo stuff will sound like...which is coming up soon.

- The ending section has a medley of snippets of the rest of the album that came before it.

- This was never played live (although personally I would have loved to have seen a Roger live performance but if you remember Fun It he is not a big fan of his own work on this album.

PERSONAL NOTES:
- I actually like this song by Rog some of his good high wails! I think the medley of snippets is fun the first time you hear it but I do wish there was an alternative version without it.

Next up? We delve into the Studio performances of 1979...Oh wait there aren't any! Sort of. While it is true the band started sessions for the next album in 1979 and even released two singles before the end of the year, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Save Me we'll wait on those til the 1980 album that they eventually were placed. Instead we will go into the Live Killers tour and Official Live Album Release. And then we will get into one of the more interesting tours they did and one of the best shows the band ever did! First up though is just the Live Killers Tour!
