Greetings from London!
Will hit Harrod's when they open this morning and pick up a dozen or so of Trespassing - sales BB sales! Hope to run into some fans and Atopers there. Great time with the Bama gurls and Sandysva at Hampton Court yesterday.

Stole this from another website (is that OK?):
My friend was in the same plane as Leila and Danielle. They were excited for the concert and to be in london for the first time.

www.eonline.com/news/marc_malkin/american_idol_shakeup_fox_considering/328557What the next season of American Idol will look like is anybody's guess right now. The latest name to be floated around at Fox as a possible new judge is—get ready for it—Idol alum Adam Lambert!
"They have been talking about Adam for over a month," a source exclusively tells E! News. "He personifies the show, and will be a popular choice right from the start. He knows what it's like to be on the receiving end of the judges' comments, he has a human touch, and they know they can't go wrong if they bring him on. He would be able to bring a unique perspective to the show. People love him." As E! News first told you, Jennifer Lopez has no plans to return for a third time at the judges' table. more I hope this is just a rumor because Adam has Trespassing to promote and his tour to do. Make a guess judge appearance one time would be OK and then sing his latest single...that would work for me. 8-)

I think it would be brilliant! 6 months ago, I would have said "no way!" But that was when I thought radio would actually play Adam's great songs. Now, today, I know differently. RCA needs an alternative way of getting Adam played and sold. This could be it. He could still tour. The judges work two days a week, for 1/2 a year. All the singing shows now have Big Top 40 artists as judges. If Idol is even considering him, it is great! Plus the pay would be amazing.

But if true, this could be very good for Adam. Look what it did for JLo's career. It revived it from the dead. Look what it's doing for Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson right now. And he could be finished with the show in time to go on tour next summer. And realistically, he's not going on a full tour in 2012. Not with no hit, no airplay and falling album sales. I'm not gonna get my hopes up but this would only be a win-win situation for Adam if he were back in peoples' living room every week for a few months. Course I'm not naive enough to think that Jimmy Iovine doesn't have his own ideas on which one of his Interscope artists he might want a spot at that table for. He's already admitted that was one of the reasons he took the job, to get his artists on as guest mentors, music guests, etc.

I just don't think Adam's needs to be associated with AI on an every week basis again. A guest appearance when he's releasing a new single would be great. I really like to think he's moved beyond AI in his career now.
And I'm really getting to the point where I'm not going to worry about radio. I'm ready to say F*uck you radio. Adam worked so hard going to these radio stations...gave them acoustic concerts and listened to their bullsh*t so if they don't play him because some schmuck doing their programing won't add Adam....then I'm ready to say the hell with them. Adam is a superstar and is known and appreciated in a lot of countries and is respected by his peers in the industry. Hopefully radio will come around.
LOL! I sound a little grouchy....guess I'm just really tired.
Nite!

I would even venture one step further to say that both camps might have been in talks for some time, which would really explain a lot of things. Oh, please let it be true!!
