I have a small sound coming from this broken station speaker - What did Adam say before moving into It's Late? Up in the setlist, correct? Under Pressure into It's Late? I wouldn't be surprised to see TYMD return after the solo spot... Wish your wish had come true . . . It is mine, as well! Do you think they may bring TYMD out in another concert along the way? Or, is the setlist about done?? What does experience tell you? Experience tells me....there's about a 50/50 shot. Here's how it goes. They start a tour - they see what works and there's always a bit of tweaking in the beginning (tonight's shortened WWRY and moving It's Late up) but once that is done they tend to stick to the show that they feel is working and only put things in for special certain reasons - IWBTLY in Japan, they tend to do Dragon Attack more in America, Break Free more in Europe - that kind of thing. BUT at the same time Tie Your Mother Down is a Queen staple. Legit every FULL gig the band has done since 76 has it in the set list. It's a crutch for Brian so if the set isn't working I think he pops it back in...almost in a panic  The only other song that seems to come in and out at random is Show Must Go On (and that seems to depend on Adam). So if Brian feels the set isn't tweaked yet we got a shot. |

I have to admit, when y'all talk about or post Queen songs I'm not familiar with and argue about what you want in the set list, I scroll. Bad habit I know. Now that the tour has started, what are the new songs that you are really enjoying? I found Save Me that way. Never heard Queen sing it but fell in love with it when QAL did it. I will listen to everything if the videos stay up but I want to zero in on the new songs that I may be missing. Of the two new songs to the list - the best are It's Late and Spread Your Wings in my eyes. Spread Your Wings was a bit sloppy last night but hopefully it sticks around and they work out the kinks... |
