Would if Adam related! My guess is it's not. My guess is it's either him and Kerry's Anthems II album release announcement OR it's an official announcement on the Freddie bio. I would love for it to be a new QAL track. (Or a new Kerryless solo album even!)

girldrummer - Not sure on the hard copy - but I would think not. cfa - Excellent points. I would worry about GDML being abit OTT. ^ However this would fit dramatic vocals and a great chance for B&R to shine....though it might be a bit tough for them to keep up at this stage of their life

That Rolling Stone interview makes me happy....I'm still pessimistic about the set list - they've made outlandish statements prior to previous tours (Roger had a famous line in 2008 about how the tour was going to have a rolling set list that changed daily...never happened....) so quite honestly I'll still be in a bit I'll believe it when I see it...
BUT if that is true:
CAUTION - RAMBLING SPECULATION FOLLOWS!
BASED Solely on the Deep Cuts and News of the World statements - much how the Live at the Rainbow release influenced the 2014 tour let me list my thoughts on the chances of tracks from that album:
WWRY/WATC - already in there leaving...
Sheer Heart Attack / All Dead All Dead / Spread Your Wings / Fight From The Inside / Get Down Make Love / Sleeping On The Sidewalk / Who Needs You / It's Late / My Melancholy Blues
IMO: Out of that list it is MOST likely we'd get: Sheer Heart Attack/Spread Your Wings/Get Down Make Love All 3 were performed heavily during the late 70s and SHA would stand to be this tours SCC / SYW is a strong ballad choice for Adam who does ballads well / GDML is a slinky funky song which Adam likes to do ala Dragon Attack
It's LEAST likely we'd get: All Dead All Dead / Who Needs You Both not being very logical concert performers....and a deep John Deacon cut seems unlikely.
Leaving a middle possibility of: Sleeping On the Sidewalk / It's Late SOTW would be in Brian's solo time I would think which is why I give it a decent possibility. I doubt Adam does it. / It's Late - Maybe I'm optimistic but maybe even they have heard fans clamoring for it for years....it wasn't done as often as some of the others and the band could view it in the "never done or for a long time category"
with two Dark Horses of: Fight From The Inside / My Melancholy Blues Dark Horses because maybe Roger decides to change up from his Days of Our LIves/A Kind Of Magic bit and throws this one in insteasd - the only reason it's not in the LEAST likely pool / MMB - well it's such a "Freddie" song which would be my only hangup but for some reason it seems like a longshot possibility but better than some of the others
In order of what I would want:
It's Late (BY FAR this is what I want)
Spread Your Wings Sheer Heart Attack Fight From The Inside
My Melancholy Blues
Sleeping On The Sidewalk All Dead All Dead Who Needs You
Get Down Make Love (You guys would love it though - it's my least favorite on the album - I still like the track but it's below all the other choices.)

Checking in to say I'm going. Nosebleed seats but I'll be in the venues at least. Me and my best friend heading to Boston Me and my wife and all 3 children heading to Philly. Newark, New York, and Uncasville all look good too but I have no $$ left.........maybe as we get closer I may fold and try to sneak in there myself if I have too I really like the interview where Adam says putting in new songs they haven't done together yet.....Hope that means at least 3 :D (I'm also hoping that Rog changes up his. I love both Days of our Lives and A Kind of Magic but I'd love to hear him do something else -- would be ecstatic with Tenement Funster, Ride The Wild Wind, Heaven For Everyone, or Small - would still be happy with the typical alternative I'm In Love With My Car -- I can't see Brian not doing Love of My Life but hoping he adds a small catalog song before hand....)
I really do like Rogers A Kind Of Magic. Even a little more than Days Of Our Lives. BUT...if he sang I'm In Love With My Car!! Well, I would be one very happy person. Love the song. Just quirky enough for Mr. Rog's style. lol Have fun at your shows. Thanks! I love almost all of their songs...I just think if Rog WERE to switch up from Days or Magic than I'm In Love With My Car would be the first and "safest" alternative. He played it at all the QPR gigs, and is somewhat seen as "his" Queen song more than any other - especially for him to sing. The others are ones he'd give to Adam now... Radio Ga Ga (he sang a bit during QPR tour - though Paul sang a lot too) which is really his defining Queen song.... One of my fav versions - They didn't use Rufus so during this time they used a keyboard drum loop for him to sing....then halfway through he goes back to his drums and Paul takes over vocals and when Rog starts playing live drums it's SUCH a difference.... I Want To Break Free (even though John wrote it, Rog sang it at all of his tours) THOUGH if he did one of those two, I'd still be happy and it would free up Adam to try something different as well....

I was wondering, did they use James Corden's band for their performance?....did they do any rehearsals prior to the performance?.... Well the bassist from James instagrammed about performing with Queen so I would bet it was Brian Roger and Adam with the house band. Rufus is not necessary for this type of one off - and as good as Spike is - a MD for James house band could certainly handle a few Queen tracks.

Thank you for understanding Adam Talon. I know some people wants them to make songs under the name of Queen or make the tour billed as "Queen". As a Queen and Adam fan I don't want either of them. I love Bri and Rog but I don't want people to forget that Adam has his own individuality and his own household name. NO problem I also think it's at least partially their olive branch to Queen purists... I personally definitely wouldn't want it just as Queen. Because Queen without Freddie and John is not Queen. Queen + Adam I see as a different entity entirely so anything would have to be under that banner in my eyes...But even that seems to make Brian wary....due to QPR and The Cosmos Rocks. I think QAL would sell better as Adam is seen as a better fit and Adam has a more modern top 20 audience. I loved Paul Rodgers - he has a great built in audience as well but it is more of a classic rock audience that Queen already had - a lot of crossover beween them while Adam will get plugs on current iHeart/Top 20 stations etc.

Nice to see you Talon! It's been deathly quiet here lately (Until QAL turned up!)Now excited but ticket buying will be terrifing!!! Hi! I'm like a bad penny....I still come back around now and again Did not have much time to play the last few days, so I am somewhat late with these comments, but I think if Adam is going more instrumental and earthy on his next album, there is a good chance that he has or will have a certain song that could be played in a rock version by QAL, kind of like GhostTown. Whether it would also be written by/with Brian or Roger is another question. Having such a song appear on A4 is giving them all a chance of testing how it is to write together without any of the stress that comes when using the Queen name. Those that like the present QAL cooperation are tuned in or latest would hear about the song while attending the concerts, and the Queen purists don't have to lose any sleep over this. So it will all depend on whether Adam would like that, or whether they came up with something, but I could totally see the tour working for A4 in this way. Otherwise, I think that Adam will finish his part of the album before the tour, I also assume he will have a single out in late May or so, with enough time to promote it in US, just right, so it can climb the charts while he is on tour. The album can then be finished up while he is on the road and somewhere in the fall it will be ready. Sounds like a pretty reasonable and doable plan to me. Now, whether Adam agrees, I don't know, but a girl can dream. I wouldn't be surprised at all. In fact it kind of mirrors remarks I made the other day. It seems one of the biggest hangups from Brian and Adam about recording involve it being under the Queen banner. Brian harkens back to the lukewarm reception QPR's The Cosmos Rocks got and Adam pines about definitely not re-recording a Freddie song but if it's new what do they call it as it's not really Queen. SO perhaps doing a song on A4 might be a way around that....who knows...

Somebody to love, WATC,WWRY, ABTD ETC?!...that's a pretty extensive set for "just" promoting...not complaining though! I'm EXCITED!!! Just a thought - I don't go to these types of shows but I wouldn't be surprised if the band played one song for the broadcast but while there, played a few more songs for the audience...
