QAL - Barcelona FLAC TorrentNot sure if this was brought over here. This is an audience recording of the full Barcelona show. No idea on quality as I'm just downloading it myself... How is the quality, Talon? Would love to know as I've been looking for a recording for this, thanks...  Not bad. It's better than much of the YT vids and a touch better than the stream. Not as good as I'd want but I like that it's a complete show! Opening with One Vision? Meh. I love OV don't get me wrong...I just appreciated a new and different opening. That's my one knock on the band is that I'd like a bit more diversity in the set. OV was last year. Just like NIH was the year before or whatever...I thought the Hero was getting better and is a great opener! Ah well...just a nitpick. in a perfect world id love to see a bit more rotation of the set....and also for B/R part. Let Rog do Days of Our Lives sometimes, Magic sometimes and maybe branch out and do Tenement Funster or Drowse or Ride The Wild Wind. I know Bri has to do Love of my Life at this point but maybe let him do that little snippet of the day like he did in 2012...one day Best Friend, one day Long Away, one day 39, one day too much love, etc. |

Catching up a bit slowly but from what I've seen no real changes to the set which is okay....Got to see the opening...The Hero was better....not QUITE there but improved already. HTF also appeared improved mixwise. Play The Game was also a bit more...understated which worked well for it I think. So all in all improvements I heard from someone that Brian quoted Freddie's Barcelona track during his solo....so can't wait to hear that again :D |

Adam really shines on WWTLF. Technically as good as Freddie. Not sure Talon agrees with me though lol. No I've always said that if there was one song that I could admit that he matched Freddie on it was WWTLF. He is wonderful at it. |

So far so good. I like the new additions and hopefully they will improve as the tour commences. The Hero works as an opener it just needs a bit of a kick in the ass. It reminds me of the first few times they did stone cold crazy when it was dreadfully slow but by like gig 3 or 4 it was up to snuff Hammer was the best of the 3. The mix of the backing vocals was a bit off bri too loud Rog too soft but all in all can't wait to see this after a few gigs. Play the game was quite good. Adam sang it great vocally though he was a bit too bordering on mocking with the silly way he sang parts of it. He sang it a BIT too Killer Queenish which works for KQ but not quite as well as in PTG. When he did sing it a bit more serious it was spot on and has the potential to be my fave QAL bit. Loved the Rog/audience line thrown in. KQ - I may be in the minortiy but in liked the black throne better!  STL - amazing how far this has come! Hated it in 2012, really dig now! |

Hammer to Fall making a nice return! NICE AND Play The Game! I like those at least....Still wished for ONE big obscurity but I'll take 2 new tracks at least :D EDIT IN - 3 if they actually play the full or even partial Hero with singing.......But I wouldn't be surprised if that's an instrumental bit to go into Hammer |
