I would love a Katy-Adam collab. I think it could be huge - and lots of fun!

This is the first time I listened to PR's voice. He can sing but forgive my opinion, but don't think that's a rock voice. Really? Oh, and he had backing vocals
I need to be fair and point out that this wasn't a QPR show - this was Paul, Brian, and some other people. QPR did perform this in concert without the ladies singing back-up. You can tell how thrilled the audience is about watching Free songs (and this is a Chilean audience!) I can't give a relevant opinion of QPR since I was not actually at a show, but I did watch a few youtube vids. Credit where credit is due, I thought Paul did a decent enough job with a some Queen songs like Fat Bottomed Girls. However, I personally prefer Adam singing every Queen song - even those that, on paper, are more suited to Paul's heavier voice. Adam's chemistry with B and R is one of the things I look forward to watching most in every performance - this chemistry was noticeably absent with Paul. Adam seems to always have a lot more energy on stage. There's also the whole superficial aspect...and the personal bias....but that's another story. If you really want a laugh, watch PR sing Another One Bites the Dist. Why oh why this was in the setlist, I'll never know...at least they had enough sense to not have him perform STL and WWTLF! www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2YdRS5mAvIAs an aside, it's amazing how gold makes everything so much better-looking!

I am also a Kelly fan. She is the one who said no one but John Legend would collaborate with her -- not me. I was just putting forward a usable explanation. John Legend has collaborated with a long, long list of people. I am glad he collaborated with Kelly but he is as edgy as a tomato slice. On the other collaborations you list -- all are country artists. She performed with EnVogue and Maroon 5 but has not recorded with either (unless I am forgetting something). The only part of this that has any interest to me is IF there is an IDOL STIGMA that will affect ADAM LAMBERT. I do not believe it exists. And I see no evidence that is Kelly's issue.
If you want to comment on the IDOL STIGMA that is Adam related. If you want to comment on Kelly Clarkson, please take it to a Kelly site. I will note my original post accordingly.
There is no idol stigma. Kelly and Adam are both powerful and probably intimidating performers/singers so it makes the usual suspects in pop reluctant to collaborate because they may end up worse for the wear by comparison. also, It's difficult to understand why you can make comments about Kelly and then ask us to take it to a Kelly site?? I am not sure what is difficult to understand but here is an explanation: There a discussion about if the lack of KC Collaborators was a results of Idol Stigma and thus would also impact Adam -- I quoted two comments of that discussion in my post. In the first line of my post I specifically stated my position on the topic, "I do not think Kelly's lack of collaborators is because of Idol. I think she is terrific and she is certainly commercially successful, but that is different than being a perfect collaborator." Read more: adamtopia.com/thread/2832/18-15-adam-news-info?page=13#ixzz3SAFjytj1My main point was that I did not believe that Kelly's lack of collaborators was due to Idol Stigma and that is relevant to Adam since he could also be affected by this. Your response to my post (on page 11), ignored the main point completely and thus had nothing to do with Adam. You comment quoted above is on topic. IF ANYONE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THIS, PLEASE PM ME.

I've noticed in the few QPR videos I've watched (only 3) that Paul does what I call "talk singing." 1:10 to 1:22 isn't even what i would call singing! Is that his style? Sorry, but this is just awful!!
