Getting back to the "hot" theme -- as I was watching "Fever" in the March Madness videos, I noticed the Hot and Sexy neon sign in the background (especially starting around 2:35). So nothing has changed! www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJogN-XgWn0

I'm late to the discussion of "hot" songs, but here is my contribution -- Cole Porter's "It's Too Darn Hot." Like all of Cole Porter's songs, it has such clever lyrics such as: According to the Kinsey report ev'ry average man you know much prefers to play his favorite sport when the temperature is low but when the thermometer goes way up and the weather is sizzling hot Mister Adam for his madam is not cause it's too too it's too darn hot, it's too darn hot It's too too too too darn hot Cole Porter was a gay man living at a time when homosexuality could not be publicly acknowledged. I feel sad to see D&G try to turn back the clock. ooh, thanks for the lyrics

What a horrible standpoint of Dolce and Gabbana. I just cant believe they said that and i applaud Elton John for his beautiful and true comment. I think IVF is such a beautiful thing and it is such a blessing if a baby gets born via IVF, a blessing i have witnessed myself and for which i am greatful every single day. I much more adore the Queen approach, just listen to the lyrics of "the miracle". "Test tube babies being born, it's a miracle" Yep. My kidlet is an IVF baby as are the children of two of my friends and all of us are straight. No matter what your orientation, IVF is a blessing for anyone who hasn't / can't conceive without assistance. The reasons for needing IVF varies dramatically on the individual (medical/genetic/physical issue with her/with him/with them) BUT one thing is the same with all IVF babies: Every single one of them was desperately wanted, and consequently is well loved. I have a great kid, but the likelihood we would have had her "naturally" was next to zero based on some eventually diagnosed issues. That said, she's just a regular kid like every other kid....with the exception that she gets to tease us every once in a while about "missing her freezer" when she insists on playing outside without a jacket (the smart-ass genes are strong). <grins> Plus I've got cute microscope pics of her. There's absolutelty no difference in an IVF kid and any other kid. There was just a bit of help putting the first two cells together.

There are guesses but no one knows except that it is a very sizable amount of money.

Well - somewhere I read that the artist of a tour makes about 35% of the gross. So, rounding up $106M.... Total takehome for "Queen" (i.e. Brian/Roger/Adam as everyone else is presumed salaried) = $106M * .35 = $37.1M Assuming Roger and Bri cut in Adam evenly = 37.1 / 3 = $12.4M Assuming Uncle Sam takes 50% = $12.4M / 2 = $6.2M Assuming Adam pays the usual 10% to agent and 20% to mangament = 6.2 - (.62+1.24) = 6.2-1.86 = $4.34M So, NOT INCLUDING MERCHANDISE, I'm gonna estimate that Adam put at least over $4M in his bank account free and clear. If Queen cleared over 35%, and/or Adam has a good tax accountant he brought home significantly more.
