OT but I don't know what is wrong with photobucket. It won't let me see any 'recent uploads' pics. I have to go hunt through all my pics to find the new DL! Is this happening to anyone else? And some times when I hit 'IMG' it won't copy. Damn FuckPhotobucket! Anyone know how to get a hold of them to ask questions? Seoulmate I used your term for Photobucket...hope you don't mind.

Good advice! And with Spotify, you can have your streaming count with a free subscription if you use it on your PC/Mac. You just have to have patience with the ads. If you use the Spotify app on your phone, you will need to have a paid account (small monthly fee); that's just how it works. Also, you can get the premium Spotify account for your PC/MAC and you won't have to deal with ads. If you haven't signed up yet, it's free for 30 days and $9.99 a month thereafter. Sorry if this is repeat info for all of you. What about free Spotify on an iPad? Does that count? You will need a paid subscription on a table/iPad as well. The app is free, but you will need a paid subscription in order to stream songs on-demand. Otherwise you are only shuffle play, which doesn't allow for on-demand streaming. And that's what you need to be able to do in order for it to count for Billboard.

Do not preorder the album from iTunes. Wait until release week. Buy some, but not all, of the tracks from iTunes. Do not opt to complete the album. If you complete the album, all your track sales are wiped out.My recommendation is: - Buy Ghost Town from iTunes now. - Do not pre-order the album from iTunes. (If you do pre-order it, just make sure to cancel it before release week.) - Pre-order the album (if you wish) from any retail other than iTunes. Adam's store will be a great place to preorder. Q3, I'm confused about the part I bolded. It's my understanding that Billboard won't retroactively erase all the single sales that were made through iTunes in the months leading up to the album release because a person ultimately buys the album. So should be no worries there. Or am I not understanding your comment. Thank you. They changed it a while ago. Plus there are bundle reporting rules. Frankly, I don't think that it is a major factor but there have been a couple of close battles for #1 album recently. I'll PM you more info.

There is free Spotify streaming for phones and tablets. They launched it in December 2013. iPhone App: itunes.apple.com/us/app/spotify-music/id324684580?mt=8Android: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spotify.music&hl=enSpotify is now free on mobile and tablet. Listen to the right music, wherever you are. With Spotify, you have access to a world of music. You can listen to artists and albums, or create your own playlist of your favorite songs. Want to discover new music? Choose a ready-made playlist that suits your mood or get personalized recommendations. Listen for free on mobile • Play any artist, album, or playlist on shuffle mode Listen for free on tablet • Play any song, any timeSpotify Premium features • Play any song, any time on any device--mobile, tablet, or your computer • Download music for offline listening. • Enjoy amazing sound quality. • No ads – just uninterrupted music. • No commitment - cancel any time you like The app is free, of course. However, on-demand, specific song streaming is NOT possible on mobile, only on a computer, unless you have a PAID Spotify account. So you will need a paid Spotify account in order to stream on your mobile phone. Without it, you can only shuffle play on mobile, not do on-demand streaming of a song. You will need a paid subscription on a table/iPad as well. Some people do not what to spend $10 a month on Spotify. And the new versions of the Spotify apps have give phone users more control. >> With FREE Spotify, any device with a screen size of 7" or more can be used to play on demand music, meaning you can pick a song and play it. Here is there iPad illustration. This was a change they made in 2013. >> For phones and Notes, there are two ways to stream "Ghost Town". - Download an .axp that will report your screen size as 7" (a tablet) - Find a playlist that is filled with GTs. I have tested both and they work. I will post instructions for how to do this tomorrow.

I don't see bewildered or amused in that picture. I only see steely determination, 'I am moving forward with what I intend to do and you can either come along or I will simply go on without you'. OK. I guess, that's why we played this word game today, didn't we. I cannot image Adam who preaches independence and following your own path expecting or implying that we should all fall in line and keel to his command. That was my whole issue with the word 'heel' and why I had asked what it meant to folks and many responded and clarified. I don't think that Adam wants us to follow like lemmings either. But there is a certain amount of self-recognition and awareness on our part (fandom) that this is at times exactly how we behave, hence a bit of laughter. And I guess, for many of the native speakers, the word 'heel' reflected this rather strange symbiosis. My responses above in cursive.

Does any of this matter if the fan lives in Canada?

You are correct ... that counts!! Just make sure you are really streaming the song and not just playing it through your library. On Spotify, when you just do a search for a song or artist and click on the song you want, then you’re streaming. However, when you pick local files (left side of app on a PC) or click iTunes, then you’re playing from your own library. TIP: Make sure in the Spotify settings that you don’t have local files enabled.
