Justgill......I think it's technically 12:01 AM on April 21....which would make it 11PM on the 20th for me here in US Central time, like where Shosh referenced April 20th in LA. That's my understanding. Dead thread. but I wanted to thank those of you who (a) clarified and (b) refrained from laughing at my total duh! on the time zones in your great country ( I do really know that although BIG, America is not THAT big ). Technicalities apart, what really threw me was the reference to Midnight. I've yet to find anyone I know, who would read Midnight 21st as the beginning rather than end of the day. I mean we wait for midnight on the 31st December to ring the New Year in, don't we? I noticed that Shosh did not say midnight: she said '12 on the 21st', cleverly avoiding that little trap . Is this a cultural difference do you think?? Anyway thanks for clarification; it means when I wake up on the 21st everything will already be buzzing instead of waiting till 12 noon </img> . I'm American and have found the who time thing confusing but haven't worried about it. Shosh likes to be cryptic.
