Has anyone who already attended one of the concerts been in the 300 Level? For both nights, we are sitting almost directly facing the end of the thrust. One night, we are in aisle seats of Row A, and the next back in Row J. I am getting anxious that we will not really be able to see them closely enough. I am considering starting to search for seats in the 200 level. I got pretty spoiled with my views last year in Vegas and Denver, but my husband was furious that to get such a view in Vegas, I ended up purchasing new tickets, and the others never sold. I might consider risking his ire for one of the concerts if anyone tells me the view and it doesn’t sound desirable. Like I said, we have good central seats, just am wondering if we can see their faces without having to rely a lot on overhead screens.
Thanks very much to anyone who can provide feedback.
Oh, and Bamafan, We are starting the football year off right! Sometimes, I miss that we now live too far away to go to games and hear that rumbling “Roll Tide” in person, just like watching videos of QAL is great, but there is nothing like being there.,,,
And to everyone, there is a delightful, well-written, probably about PG 13 (if I were to rate it) fan-fiction story that I think many of you might enjoy.. It is called “Loops” and is on Wattpad; also, I think it was a podcast or something, but in this case, I believe that the very best way to access the well-adapted, sustained style and tone, which manages to be humorous and nostalgic without being overwrought or maudlin is simply reading it. Besides, even though I saw what looked like a link next to the word “podcast”, I am so completely new to fan fiction, who knows if that is an option. I did not click on it because 98% of the time, I will choose reading just because reading is about my favorite thing to do.
Well, that doesn’t make it sound all that more appealing than listening—retired, recovering Former English Professor, so forgive if the previous description sounds like a comment on a student paper. Instead, I will tell you that it has Adam, it has Freddie, and although not an extremely prominent character, Dr. Who! You will see why. Also, if this story was previously discussed, sorry if what I am writing about it seems like a re-hash. But to people like myself who are newish or new to the forum, it is a lovely piece, and if I had posted it yesterday, that would have made reading it then even better.
My goddaughter found it for me to make a point about fan fiction after we had a lively discussion. I just wonder what all she read to find this one!
