You know .... you never know who might be sitting in the audience at one of these award/tribute/charity shows with producers, directors and entertainment movers and shakers and hears Adam sing live and remembers it at some point when his vocals might fit the bill. This is something that can't be said often enough. These one-offs are often done before pretty high-level audiences. That SAG audience was full of A-listers of all kinds, some of whom likely had never heard Adam sing. That incredible performance HAD to stick in the minds of some of them. Hopefully, they will remember when a good opportunity arises.

I've always felt these things are helpful/important to his career (keeping him on the radar) whether he sings his own music or something else, just presents or concerts with Queen. I know fans love seeing pictures of him with his friends or club friends (I enjoy it occasionally) but really enjoy seeing him at events with peers or performing for fans in any capacity. These are the things that get him media coverage.

I have some sad news to report. I had to put my poor pup Uke to rest yesterday. He had gotten too weak to stand on his 3 remaining 3 legs. He gave it a good go and based on statistics he survived 1 year longer than expected. I want to thank all of you for your support. If anyone tweets with Patti, I would appreciate it if you passed this on to her. She was very supportive. Also a special thank you to Animaldoc for passing on all her knowledge and support. Oh, cookeejar, I am so sorry to hear about Uke. I am logging on late to the thread today, and just read your sad news. Yes, he did beat the odds, and you gave him a wonderful quality of life since his diagnosis. My heart aches for you, as I know how important these doggie "children" are to us. Are you going to get a new member of the family? Know that my thoughts and sincere sympathy are with you at this most difficult time. I am logging on late to the thread today, and just read your sad nes. Yes, he did give it a good go, and survived longer than expected.

Beloved pets are part of the family just like everyone else. We've lost a few pets, too, and it's never easy to let them go. They take a little bit of your heart along with them. You have my sympathies.
