Why do people keep asking Robbie Williams about Adam? And why do we want Adam singing with Robbie (Robbie is NOT a great singer lol).
Robbie reminds of an aging rocker that hasn't realized he's old yet. I don't get it.

Robbie reminds of an aging rocker that hasn't realized he's old yet. I don't get it. Be careful. He’s only barely 8 years older than Adam. They are closer in age than Adam and Sam Smith. 😉 And he’s among the Top 10 of the artists, that sold the most records in my country in all time. Up there with all the huge names. It would be a big deal for Adam to have a song with him!

Worse than being an aging rocker -- he's a 44 year old pop singer who was most famous in the 1990's when he was really young.
I think that the connection to Queen has increased the number of fans that Adam and Robbie share.
Robbie has a number of connections to Queen -- including recording the WWRY that is in A Knights Tale.

Guys, I know, Robbie isn’t really known in the USA. Just to give you an impression: These are his album sales in the UK and Germany. His albums with the boygroup Take That are not included!
UK 1 The Beatles 34,095,000 2 Queen 25,720,000 3 Elvis Presley 23,255,000 4 Michael Jackson 22,690,000 5 Madonna 22,490,000 6 Rod Stewart 20,980,000 7 Robbie Williams 18,930,000 8 ABBA 18,735,000 9 U2 18,070,000 10 Elton John 17,470,000
Germany 1 Queen 16,215,000 2 Phil Collins 14,290,000 3 Pink Floyd 13,900,000 4 ABBA 12,785,000 5 The Beatles 12,680,000 6 AC/DC 11,955,000 7 Michael Jackson 11,470,000 8 Madonna 11,075,000 9 The Rolling Stones 9,615,000 10 Robbie Williams 8,475,000

Robbie Willians is a legend. Someone like him wanting to sing with Adam reflects well on Adam. Regardless of what commercial impact it would make. I don’t see it happening any time soon though. He’s known far more in the UK. He was a huge international star in the 90s. UK particularly. US never broke through. If Adam did a duet with Robbie in the UK. Be big I think.

When Robbie released his last album 2-3 years ago, he got his own TV special show in Germany. Something that I haven’t seen before happening in this way. He’s still touring in stadiums all over Europe. His fans are the very young teenagers from the mid 90s. Adam’s age group...

Robbie just announced a short residency in Las Vegas.

Robbie just announced a short residency in Las Vegas. Never could figure out why fans look for someone to sing with Adam on his behalf. What is the person going to say? Not interested. What is Adam going to say if asked? Not interested. I remember when people would bring up Adam to Cristiana cause Adam mentioned he would love to sing with her. I think he was new to the business and still star struck. But he did not ask anyone to ask her and when someone did she did not seem interested at all. If something is going to happen, I think Adam and his people would know how to make it known without the help of fans. When Melissa and Adam finally happened it was rather a let down. He was clearly holding back cause she wasn't so good. And no one saw Adam and Leona on the radar and it turned out to be a real winner. Sometimes the best things happen when they are not forced on anyone. I sorta cringe every time the Robbie Williams thing comes up. Does Adam really want to do a duet with him? I would think if he did, he could make it happen without the fans intervening.

It would be one more feather in Adam's cap. Lots of people would pay attention, esp. in the UK. It certainly couldn't hurt.
