I liked this interview! So relaxed. They covered a lot of bases, both solo-related and Queen-related. Interesting that Adam is planning to start some sort of charitable, non-profit foundation for a deserving cause. Hope he gets the chance. To me, Adam sounded like he had a head cold. A bit stuffy. Maybe it was just the audio.

I mentioned this before, but for everybody who has IG it is pretty efficient and non invasive to share via IG stories. You can set it to not delete within 24hrs. I also share on twitter almost on the daily.

But what does it mean to share in Spotify? And if by share it's actually outside of Spotify then it's more of a "please post to social media and link to the song on Spotify". Spotify must use google analytics if it's including links in it's algorithms. Yes share the song on social media or to whatsapp. If you click on the ... behind the song you have multiple options and one of it is to share. You can share to several options as well: SMS, WhatApp, Instagram Stories, FB Messenger, FB, Twitter, using the link and also to your phone accounts if you use other accounts / e-mail you want to share it in. Spotify uses a new link for every time you share the song through the app so it's traceable for them which link is used. My Twitter posts for Superpower and other songs are almost always shared from the app so they have different links each time I share them. Only the 3 song Velvet song links and the links in my numbers posts in the numbers thread are stable as I have those in my spreadsheet. Have been sharing through FB messenger, IG stories, and twitter but I totally forgot about WhatsApp. A few of my European friends will be blessed with an awesome new tune then!!

These intimate venues that Adam is playing may not be what his actual planned tour will be. Tho Foxwood Casino would be in line with what he will probably do with a regular tour. But as much as we dismiss the importance of radio, if you are not getting a ton of it to go with the streaming, you are unlikely to get the big hits and play arenas. And all of those playing arenas are not always the best singers or greatest performers but they are getting radio hits. The ones playing arenas without the big hits are acts who got them long ago. And they built up a huge following who still want to see them. And many of the rappers, with the huge streaming numbers and playing arenas, are touring with multiple acts. So Adam's tour sizes will be in line with his solo exposure. If it were based on talent, he would be playing stadiums, lol. I think Adam's actual solo tour will be the same mid-sized venues that he had on his last tours. It's just the reality of where he stands in the hierarchy of singers. Good radio play would help, of course. And he just might get some, more than we might think. As to singers in general and their success, I think it has ALWAYS been true for decades and decades, ever since the phonograph and the radio were invented, that hugely successful singers aren't always the most talented singers. Doesn't matter. It's a combination of the song, the delivery of the song, and the connection that the singer has with the audience. Voice quality and pure talent has little to do with it. Never has. Adam has a niche in the music industry. He has fiercely loyal fans. He also has earned some healthy respect in the music industry. He networks well. He gets pretty high-profile gigs on his own. QAL has given him immense cred and an international profile. Talent, personality and charisma doesn't always fill arenas. We stream, we view, we buy, we love the guy.
