Imo pushing CTY would look like another attempt to chase WWFM success - and we had more than enough of that with BTIKM and ALN.I can guarantee that once the Live Sessions’ versión of other songs will come out we are going to drool over their perfection as well, including SP. on another subject: i’ve Been streaming and listening to all V songs on SoundCloud. Interestingly enough the count displayed under each song never moved. this is what I see on my phone SoundCloud app since I started streaming: SYA -2906 CTY - 2694 OG- 1094 LB -1267 RTR - 1054 SP -7748 what do you see? I am trying to understand why the count is not updated, is it my phone? eta: I checked SoundCloud on IPad and the numbers are all different, for instance SP says 17k.. Very subjective opinion here, but how can you possibly compare BTIKM and ALN to "Closer To You"?? Shakes head. And what's wrong with chasing the success that he had with a single about 10 years ago? Btw. I did not even think of WWFM when I heard CTY. Well... they are kinda the same type of “I am unhappy and in need of [insert the respective song’s subject]” type songs, mid tempo, soul searching, a bit depressive ...Feel Something belongs there as well of course... similar musical arc - starts quiet and low, goes up up up to a highly emotional apex and comes down from there... “how can you possibly compare BTIKM and ALN to "Closer To You"??” - I agree with the emotional side here - I happen to hate WWFM to the point that i’ve Deleted it from all my devices years ago, BTIKM as well, ALN is still there, but I would never listen to it... CTY I adore! But still, I think the history of Adam’s single choices is so tainted by the labels’ Desire to repeat the WWFM formula that I’d rather see any other type of a single... SP is perfect IMO! not sure I am making sense...

Comment under CTY video.. Otis Downs Thank You Thank You Thank You. I went and did it. I got him back, Hhe was my First real Love and after 10 yrs we went our separate ways. But I found his phone number thru a paid search and we watched this together. All because you gave me the Strength Adam to make that call. Aw, how amazing is that? Hope everything works out for them.

Imo, Adam has never released or performed a beautiful ballad of his own on tv. Midtempo and uptempo yes. I don't think all of his fans like the same thing. Changing things up is good and keeps all fans interested. SP is uptempo so a beautiful ballad could get a chance if SP does well. I would love to see him do a song to really showoff that voice that everyone raves about when he is singing someone else's song. Wouldn't it be wonderful to hear them say that about his own work? I love him rocking out on stage with Queen but I love when he sings a ballad as well. Not into disco so much as it never highlights his beautiful voice. Would love to see him play to his biggest strength. I don't think he will release a rock song (which I would love too) so I'm hoping for a great ballad. CTY for the win, lol.

I wouldn't compare cty to aln or btiknm either. Having a ballad-hit doesn't exclude a dance-upbeat hit and vice versa. Just take Ed Sheeran with 'shape of you'/'galway girl' and 'perfect'. @lurleene agree...to add on Queen on my previous point abtd doesn't take anything away from wwtlf. pi wow, that comment went down my spine! Thanks for bringing it over!

I really hope Superpower gets some radio play, and that the album is exposed to more people that way or any other way. Can't think about another single at the moment, but I think Loverboy would be a good one also.

Turns out though that we have the same musical tastes haha, and I see your point why you consider SP as a much better single choice. I totally love that song too, don't get me wrong, but I still think that CTY could create more of a "moment" when performed live to a large audience. I am crossing my fingers for both.
