Enjoyed Kelly and Adam chatting! She has always adored him. They are two peas in a pod. Can't wait to see more of Adam on STYT. Adam is a natural talk show host if there ever was one!
Great to see Brian up and about! Now that his medical issues are on the mend, I hope we see more of him again.
I think QAL will be back with an vengeance in 2021!

I have been reading some of the interviews from Samantha on her Idol win. They do say she is the first LGBTQ Idol winner then they move on to her desires for her career. There is no asking her to explain being gay. What it means to be gay. How does she think it will impact her career. Is it a problem in the music industry. In the world. Maybe a time will come when she will want to talk about those issues but it is nice to see they are letting her get her career up and running and without needing to answer for all things gay. Sorta the SS and Frank Ocean treatment. They acknowledged their sexuality, as matter of fact, then the interest turned to their music and talent. That became the focus. SS started to speak out in recent years but on his own time table and when he wanted. There were so many times, especially in Adam's early career, where it was maddening and so frustrating that he could not explain his sexuality enough. He would answer truthfully. But they would keep coming back to the same subject over and over and asking him to explain over and over in the same interview. It was as if they didn't know what gay meant. We know they did. It would have been wonderful if they had not made his talent and career goals an afterthought. But they did before and after the AMA's. I understood why his sexuality would have been front and center for gay publications. But some of the others were acting as if he needed to always answer for what was natural to him. To explain why if was difficult in the music industry. If they really cared, they would have asked radio and labels to explain, they were the ones with the power to change. I know some think SS, Frank and PTX broke thru with radio, Grammy's and/or award show performances because they were so called "safe." I think they broke thru because they were not treated as if they had two heads on their shoulders and their music and talent were allowed to be the main focus. But Adam has done well with his career and he became a great spokesperson, advocate and role model for his community. But it was so pleasing to see the media loving Velvet and keeping the focus on that wonderful album and work. Of course being the frontman for Queen makes it a little hard to ignore his enormous talent, lol. And how great is it that Adam is being asked to represent and support some diverse causes during these hard times. WHO, GLAAD, Mental Health, YATC and more. A gifted and generous man our Adam.
