Adam is an intelligent man. He does not approve of the leadership in the white house and neither do I. He is not being duped nor are the rest of us who agree with him. Yes there is a lot of material out there. We know. But we also know the difference between CNN and Fox. But Adam, like most of us, knows inequality and unfairness when we see it. He will be guided by his heart and mind. He is not going to fall for silly conspiracy theories. I give him credit for speaking up. Anyone else can believe anything they want. However, he has his opinions and he is not easily fooled. I hope we can give him that space even when we don't agree with his stand.

I do not find the American people so universally foolish as to believe, blindly, what 'Hollywood, movies, and TV and print media' are selling us. Surely, the viewpoints and glorified presentations are persuasive. But, to intelligent folk, to those who seek, always, the truth, it is food for thought; part of the 'word salad' of the onslaught of news we are served every day. I feel and shed tears with 'resilient, adaptable, kind and caring' humanity. But I also live, very surely, with the reality that black lives DO matter. That a black man must think about the risk he's taking if he jogs after dark; wears a hoodie in the neighborhood. I don't need to turn on a TV or tune into a radio show to know this truth. No one is fooling me. No one is fooling Adam, either.

This isn’t a very “heavy” observation I’m about to make here, but something I really love about Adam (the person, not singer/performer) is that he is blunt, or forthright, about what he really thinks is right and wrong. And important. No beating around the bush (so to speak). It’s refreshing, and I am glad he feels the freedom to express himself that way (as well as artistically). I feel slightly less despairing now that charges have been brought against all four former officers and some powerful voices have been heard today affirming the bravery and goodness of the “tens of thousands of protestors” who are standing up for the values of equality and justice.

So happy they were caught before their plan was carried out in Las Vegas. Prosecutors: 3 arrested on terrorism charges in Las Vegas Three Nevada men with ties to a loose movement of right-wing extremists advocating the overthrow of the U.S. government have been arrested on terrorism-related charges in what authorities say was a conspiracy to spark violence during recent protests in Las Vegas. Federal prosecutors say the three white men with U.S. military experience are accused of conspiring to carry out a plan that began in April in conjunction with protests to reopen businesses closed because of the coronavirus and later sought to capitalize on protests over the death of a Minneapolis man in police custody. They were arrested Saturday on the way to a protest in downtown Las Vegas after filling gas cans at a parking lot and making Molotov cocktails in glass bottles, according to a copy of the criminal complaint obtained by The Associated Press. The complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas on Wednesday said they self-identified as part of the “boogaloo” movement, which U.S. prosecutors said in the document is “a term used by extremists to signify coming civil war and/or fall of civilization.” www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/prosecutors-3-arrested-on-terrorism-charges-in-las-vegas/ar-BB14ZJZ5?li=BBnbfcL

That's great to give him the space to believe what he wants but in my opinion he should do the same for his fans. I think it's unrealistic for an artist to think all of his fans will follow in lock step what he thinks and tell us to F off if we don't. I am far more educated than Adam and have lived more life and I think my opinions should have value just as his do. I may listen to a song that interests me here and there but I'm finished having spotify running all day, voting for him on polls, sticking up for him when people bring the gay hate and I will never spend another penny on a concert or merchandise.

Dearest Adam, you have the kindest heart! Please allow me to speak from a Mom's point of view for a minute. Helping and supporting from afar is just as genuine as being there in person. Your words and the help your foundation has given to the cause has a huge impact. Please don't put yourself and your future in jeopardy. You have protected yourself for almost 3 months and shouldn't be thrown away. Help and support comes in many forms. Thank you for always being there to help and support. <3

I may listen to a song that interests me here and there but I'm finished having spotify running all day, voting for him on polls, sticking up for him when people bring the gay hate and I will never spend another penny on a concert or merchandise. A lot of us are more educated than Adam and have lived at least a longer life, if not more life. But it does not make any of us smarter or wiser in every way, so there lies the disconnect in my opinion. Not sure what there is to disagree with him about. I doubt any of us think it was okay for Mr. Floyd to be killed on the street by that police officer. I don't think any of us agree with racism, homphobia and discrimination. And if Black Lives don't matter to some (which is what he was advocating) then they should have kept it to themselves instead of sending him messages on his feed. If he swatted them away then good for him. They were trying to hurt and antagonize and he was not having it. There are always going to be those who think they are more superior than others (and to Adam) but most of us understand why that would not sit well with him. I'm pretty sure there are many of his fans who support HeWhoCannot amed and his foolishness but they all know Adam is not one of them. Why would he support a man who makes threats when he can't have things his way? Tantrums. Sometimes carrying out the threats no matter who gets hurt. Why would fans get mad because Adam thinks he is a fool and doesn't support him? We all know Adam was not supporting the violence and destruction but some claimed that was what they were against, as if he was in favor of it. I thought that was insulting. So I have yet to hear what opinion he gave that was so offensive to some. That he does not follow the conspiracy theories? A lot of people are taking a stand and speaking out right now and I am proud of Adam for being one of them. I will buy his music, stream and attend his concerts because I think he is a good man as well as a talented man. Nothing about this has changed for me. He seems like the man I thought he was. And he is still so handsome, lol.

It wasn't his opinion I have a problem with, it's that he wants us to respect his opinion while he has no tolerance for any opinion other than his own.
I thought it was disrespectful and childish the way he berated fans that have an opinion different than his. Many of these people, including myself have supported him for years and don't deserve his nasty comments. I wouldn't be proud of anyone for speaking out in the manner he did.
