I'm jealous of your Google Fiber service. I've got spectrum and it's pretty fast....but faster is better. I'm prob too rural to ever get Google...one of the bonuses of living in a big city.
Dancy.....best of luck to you this week. Keep us posted. My Gyn has been wanting to take out my uterus for years...it's prolapsed some. I've just put it off. I kinda wished I had had all those female parts removed 20 years ago. Don't need them...there's HRT, etc. Now at my age, the surgery itself is problematic.

I think the "good news" sharing today is a very good idea! To Dancy, stamps, Q3 and all those who are battling health issues, I hope you all recover and get back to normal soon. And happy birthday, nic42! I have had my share of medical stuff over the years, but I am lucky to be on a long healthy stretch. I walk four miles a day, FAST, with my dear sis and keep busy with bunches of stuff. I am SO glad to hear that Adam will be on James Corden on Wednesday! It's about time. James seems to really like him. He's had him on a number of times. Can't wait to see the show! AND, I am thrilled about Brian's great honor as Best Guitarist! And Adam is so lucky to be the frontman for such a legend. Adam is rubbing elbows with the BEST in the business. I love the slogan "REFORM THE POLICE--FUND THE PEOPLE." The Defund the Police label is so misunderstood and is causing a lot of unnecessary strife. Bottom line, something major reform needs to be done.My good news: getting a haircut on the 20th after almost four months. Yikes. I don't even want to look in the mirror. That is a nice slogan that Dancy came up with. I hope they will see fit to change the slogan soon. Too much time is being spent on explaining or distorting. The message is being lost. And I don't want to see Biden spend anymore time on this when he should be talking about reform and how he will try to put the country on a different path. Too much work needs to be done and a purity test right now over a slogan (that doesn't fit the true meaning) and allies being shouted out of participation in anger will work against the cause, imo. I don't think anyone wants to see the George Zimmerman's of the world policing neighborhoods. Wishing everyone good health.

Haha, LindaG23, it's the little things in life, that sometimes aren't so little...congrats on your impending connection!
My good news is that my Dad had to take my mom to the ER yesterday, she couldn't breathe, but after an EKG and overnight observation, it looks like she had a panic/anxiety attack. She's a major worrier, and there has been a whole lot of stuff happening in our family (aside from virus concerns), so that I think it just put her on overload. She's 78 and easily stressed. Such a better outcome than a possible heart attack or another stroke (she had one a couple of years ago).

A Good News day - Much needed for us all.
My good news - My 11 month old granddaughter took her first steps today - Definitely a red letter day! And it was captured on video. How many of us wish it had been so easy to capture when ours were young. Other good news is that I am still employed at 73, working from home and extremely thankful for all my blessings.
Dancy - You are in my thoughts - Sending good karma your way. Q3 - Hope all continues to go well for your brother.
All be safe - Stay healthy.

My good news moment was seeing my son, DIL and 2 1/2year old grand-daughter for the first time in 4 months on Sunday. It took a lot of effort to keep distanced which meant keeping the little one occupied every.single.minute. We outlined a large circuit with string in the back yard and filled it with climbing obstacles (overturned recycling bins). She ran it at least 20 times, stopping after each round for applause. That's my girl.
As an aside bama, my mother had a prolapsed uterus and managed to avoid a hysterectomy by using a pessary for 35 years without a hitch. Actually, there was that one time early on when she had some difficulty removing it (to clean it) and called me at the office for advice. I walked her through it no problem but I had to speak loudly and the walls at work were paper thin. I imagine my co-workers were a bit confused but no one mentioned it - ha ha. My mom was always game for anything and embraced all things alternative - I was lucky to have her.
Also, good luck Dancy!
