Agree with Ksha518 Love this and agree with this quote from RabbitRabbit about expectations. So had to repost it. "I believe in projecting and manifesting in creating and visualizing great intentions for your life and the universe, in inviting in abundance (insert your favorite spiritual metaphor or Oprah quote here, lol) but also the flip side of that is letting go completely of expectations and attachment to the results."I think as humans it is impossible not to be dissappointed when things don't go our way. The question is what meaning will you give to that "failure." We write and/or choose the meaning of "failure" and "success." The meaning you give it either takes you down the well or leads to other options and possibilities. Inventers take failure simply as a sign to try a new way. So, it feeds creative thought. They say it was thousands of failures that led to the light bulb. Not saying do this, but if someone really wants to take part in the creative process of Adam's success they can think of new ways that are NOT ANNOYING IN ANY WAY to include new people in the Adam experience AND not think of it as a failure, not give up, when they fail to interest someone but rather see it as an opportunity to look to a new way or a new person.. Again, may sound new age corny but point of view is everything in life and new agers don't have a corner on the POV market. aaaaand stepping off my tuffet once again :

Another subject altogether. Since we've had a few bogus demos of Adam songs on YouTube lately, I been thinking about how confusing it has been for so many people to know if Adam was singing or not. That is, it's been confusing for many people to identify his voice. In some ways his voice is very unique--range, in particular. In other ways, his voice is--I don't know how to say this properly--kinda plain, but that's not really what I mean. Plain in that he doesn't have an easily recognizable timber (Adele, Bruce, etc.). It's such a pure vocal sound without quirkiness that distinguished some other singers. Here's what I'm thinking. Remember how on AI he was such a chameleon (visually, vocal style)? When I heard these bogus demos, I did not think it was Adam, but, unlike Cassie who knew it after two notes 8-), I had to listen for a bit. The reason is because I think he could make his voice sound like that. He could have, for one song, decided to slur his articulation. He could change his vibrato (doesn't use that much of it on BTIKM). But I didn't think he would make all those changes for one song. I remember hearing FYE (song) the first time and thinking it didn't sound like Adam I knew from AI. I remember some other people commenting on that too. yup. this. ITA. Thank you Holst for making me feel a little less delusional for still thinking that's Adam on the "Adam Nikki" demo.

I get the feeling Adam no longer feels the need to protect Sauli in pap situations and I like that. It's interesting to watch the evolution of their relationship, as much as we see from waaayyyy outside, and to watch the walls of caution drop a little as they speak of one another by name. Nice. I wonder if Adam's perspective changed when he went to Finland and saw Sauli in his home country, where he is a celebrity and has been handling the paps for quite a while. IMHO there is definitely an added respect and perhaps level of trust with Sauli now. Adam's whole body language has shifted and it looks more like "We are in this together" body language. Wow Juniemoon....loved your piece today! It's like you crawled into my head and wrote my thoughts...much more eloquently than I could have...which is why I am mostly a lurker. Adam has changed my life in many ways...or maybe i should say Adam has given me back my life. When I discovered Adam on idol, I was in a very low place, depressed and in a unhappy marriage. I had lost my joy for life and was going through the motions. Then something about Adam and his freedom and individuality just hit me. I was hooked, I had a new passion. When I heard he was doing a concert in Feb of 2010...I knew I had to go. I didn't care that I didn't have anyone to go with, or that my overprotective, slightly controlling husband would say absolutely not, I was going. I told my husband the night before i left, got on the plane and felt free...fiannly! The experience at Fantasy Springs was amazing...not only was the concert awesome...the people I met were so inspiring...so many amazing women, talented, smart, and normal (relatively )...and they all shared my passion for Adam. That weekend changed me in so many ways. I got back from Indio and decided to take charge of my life once and for all. I told my husband to shape up or get out (he's shaped up quite nicely!!), I embarked on a fitness program...and in the process lost 70 pounds and completed a half marathon and triathlon (spent many many hours running to Adam songs!!) I rediscovered myself! As I was waiting for the start of the triathlon, they were playing music in the transition area...mostly 80's rock...Journey, ACDC...and then right before my wave was supposed to start, i heard the familiar beginning of a song...they played WWFM...I started to cry...it was perfect. Adam's outlook really inspired me to LIVE!! To enjoy life. I've put myself out there. I rediscovered my love of music...especially live music. In the past two years I've gone to more concerts than in the past 30. Some good, some not so much...GNT of course is up at the top of that list. I've decided it's OK to be a little weird...and try things I've never done before. I am so excited for this next go round of music. I love all the aspects of "stanning" Adam, but mostly I love how his music makes me feel! JunieMoon and Lakota!!!So completely love what each of you wrote! JunieMoon,Yes!!!!!! I absolutely love your message today! Thank you! I think Adam's four greatest messages to his fans are Love, Peace, Equality, and Freedom to express oneself fully. As you say so beautifully in your post, he is such a profound example of someone who set himself free from both the inner and outer ties that bind and hold you back. These ties never go away but it is each of our job in life to find a way break through them. He has said on a few occasions if he could send a message to the fans it is not to be like him but rather for them to set themselves free to be fully themselves. "Be free!" Lakota,Ahhh you brought tears to my eyes. Such an incredible story! You are such a beautiful example of someone who has set themselves free. A wonderful role model for others. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!!

I know nothing about Dreamer other than it is a very pretty song. Are you saying that this exact song this very song that is labeled on this YouTube as Adam and Nikka, with the person that sounds to me like Adam singing, is on the Uh Huh Her Album? It really sounds like Adam is the other person singing. The song that they claim is Adam and Nikka and they have titled as Lights Out is the same song as Dance With Me from Common Reaction. Someone here posted the link to Cam's song earlier, here it is again. www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2h1NUhtRTk&feature=relatedWell that clears it up for me. It's an Adam and Cam version of Dance with Me that was never supposed to get leaked.

When the supposed demo of Dreamer was posted back in October Neil commented that he had heard Adam sing the song but it was not recorded. He then did a little investigating and figured out that someone altered the vocals on the Uh Huh Her recording. This is the exchange between he and Cam. Neil Lambert @negativeneil 6 Oct or is it Leisha? I can't tell your voices apart, @uhhuhhermusic. I get sensory overload and then I just give up. U H H U H H @uhhuhhermusic Close @negativeneil That would be me...cam. Who slowed me down neeeer???? That must have sounded hilarious. Good times. Hide conversation 2 Retweets 3 Favorites Carrie uhhuhher fans page rhosadambert glitterynfierce Mary 11:52 AM - 7 Oct 11 via web · Details Didn't someone say this new alleged demo is from the same person who uploaded the doctored "Dreamer" demo? I'd say that it is highly UNLIKELY to be Adam singing. Plus since the lyrics and music are obviously the same as the Uh Huh Her song I find it hard to believe that Adam and Nikka would be singing it. Both Dance With Me and Dreamer are on Uh Huh Her's first CD Common Reaction. It's pretty clear someone is punking the fans. Maybe someone can find the person that is the real singer...

Here's what I was thinking - I know that they're Uh Huh Her's songs - I posted the links. I was thinking it was possible, though, that Adam did at some point sing them (not necesarily for the album, but - I don't know - for fun, for them, or something like that). So, yeah - I'm serious. But I'm no vocal expert . . . evidently CLEARLY - yikes. Is this Adam? adammitchellambert.com/2011/10/04/dreamer-could-be-adam-lambert-new-single/Only had to listen to one phrase to know it's not Adam. Oh My God that is an incredibly beautiful song. Incredibly beautiful. Nod to Britain. Wow!!!

Hmmm, Adam and Nikka Costa singing an Uh Huh Her song?? A song that they already have on their album?? I don't think so! May not be Nikka but that sounds like Adam to me.

Is that Adam? I like the song. That can't be Adam. I couldn't understand a word he was singing. I don't even like the music. Hope it is not on Trespassing. Definitely is Adam.
