I'm gonna change my name to Charity and go door to door asking people to donate to Charity. > LOLLLLLLLLLL! Perfect! Reminds me that when I was a kid we were super-poor at a certain point and I came up with the brilliant idea of sending my very cute little sister door-to-door to collect money "for poor children." She didn't mention that the poor children was the two of us... :-[ You guys rock! - Adamtopia is hoppin' with goodies today.

Look, you guys. I'm sorry. Maybe I'm the one who should get banned. I don't want to break the rules and just repeat my post ... the charity:water thing was wonderfully successful as a charitable endeavor and sort of fuggled up as a fan activity. I feel it could have been handled better. I think there are still some fans who don't feel up to a huge charity bacchanalia like we had last year. That's all. I see that my opinion is in the minority and that there is a group consensus on the matter that what I said was not OK. I accept that and it doesn't seem like there's much more to say. Love you JunieMoon

OK, so I've always wanted a list of the media outfits we love and a list of those that are ignorant dults/disrespectful/don't get Adam. I just like knowing which are the ones with integrity that are respectful of Adam and know he is both an amazingly talented superstar and a good guy. So, I opened a thread in the Salon section under "Inspired by Adam" to Rate different media outfits. Of course I cannot do this alone. I need your help. If you think of a media outfit that has been consistantly cool would you please ad it and give it a rating (1-10 scale.) and if you have the time ad a little note with why. If no time just the name and the rating. (i.e JustJared is a 10) It just would be nice to have in one area a list of some of the best ones even adding the name of the post author. This way we can kind of take back the power so to speak ; )

There are some media outfits that are run with integrity. They are respectful and supportive of Adam and know that he is an amazing talent and a really good person. (Others just haven't figured it out yet.)
Here we will rate the media outfits : ) and decide how to deal with the ones that remain ignorant and blind.

WAIT--forgive me if I am mistaken but people are complaining because Adam didn't THANK them for donating to charity on his behalf and therefore bc of the butthurt that he shouldn't try and give to charity anymore on his bday because it may hurt his fans feelings? Is that the gist? Hope I'm wrong.... BRB--flinging myself off a cliff. I know right LOL as adam would say entitlement is not sexy.... ???

I hope this isn't an unpopular opinion. I don't say it to be controversial. But I kind of hope Adam doesn't do a big charity event for his birthday this year. The charity:water event was amazing in its success -- I'm sure it's a big topic in development offices at non-profits everywhere. But as a fan activity it left an awful lot of nice people feeling hurt. Something went awry with that effort and I still can't put my finger on what it really was. I loved the interview on "The Talk" but I will never forget the sinking feeling I had when Adam had to be prompted about charity:water when asked about his birthday. Starts about 4:00: Not to be all new-agey, but somehow that flow of energy, that "infinity" between Adam and his fans, was blocked on this effort. Perhaps the mental or emotional energy was just not there to feel the depth of the outpouring. This is just my personal feeling, but for me the circle between Adam and his fans still doesn't feel complete from the 29th birthday, and I don't just mean those damn pictures (not a factor for me personally as I could not afford to donate that amount). I hope that whatever is done this year is not some kind of crazy blowout with a huge goal. "Give to the charity of your choice and send me the receipt" would be my choice. JMO. Wow, this can be construed in an entirely different way. Imagine for a moment that this is Adam being humble and not talking up what a moral and good man he is that he would give away anything that might come toward him instead to people who need water in another country. THAT in fact would have been schmarmy. "Look people. I SAVED THE WORLD because I AM SO SELFLESS that I DON'T NEED TO RECIEVE HUGE AMOUNTS OF RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE PRESENTS from my fans all over the world." Mind you, Adam has some extremely wealthy fans who donated large amounts of money and very very likely those people would NEVER expect adam to boast about this to the media. When you are suddenly garnering huge amounts of money and power you learn very quickly NOT to boast about it. He thanked the Glamberts. Most importantly. When you donate to something like this, you must donate from the heart, keeping in mind that you might be saving lives. THAT IS THE THANKS. Please know that I am NOT judging you for having your opinion or feeling the way you do. Believe me when I say that. I just needed to get this out because I think it is a really important distinction and in fact if anything the positive karma vibes from last year are massive. People got fresh water!!! If you think Adam's idea to give to a charity is good. If you believe in helping people receive fresh water. If you know that together as a group the glam squad can really make big change. Then take part. If you are doing it expecting some public acknowledgment. I would say definitely do not do it. Sure its great to hear Adam say "Wow, my fans are truly unbelievable. They amaze me. Their hearts are truly huge and they are incredibly giving. Even those who don't have much money gave for this great cause." When he says that, great! If he doesn't say that, just know. Yes, you are truly unbelievable. You are amazing. And your heart is huge. Adam's fans have HUGE sensitive hearts. That is for sure. Rest assure he knows that after seeing what people have been willing to do to support him. I don't think Adam takes anything for granted.

Would someone be so kind and answer my question. I need a grammar / spelling advice. I am thinking to put my t-shirt text / logo, which reads something like: "I am in a rabbit hole",
or "I'm deep in the rabbit hole"I can not trust Google translation. Whether the sentences spelled correctly? I do not want to seem stupid, if the text is misspelled. you could use the lyric from the song: "going down the rabbit hole" and maybe under it, in smaller letters, add: "come on and follow me" yes!! Love that!!! Hmmm
