Thank you all for your kind words. I am not sure about getting another but today was aufully lonely so maybe. I have had to say good-bye to a number of dogs over the years, and it is devastating. My heart goes out to you. I know some folks think they will never get another pet because of the pain of the loss. I am in the other group: I want to honor my lost dog by adopting another who desperately needs a home and love. Currently I have two rescued dogs who are now certified therapy dogs. We visit hospitals, schools, and assisted living facilities. To see a previously "unwanted" dog bring joy and smiles to so many people is special. I hope after a period of grieving, you can share your love with a new baby. I lost 2 of my 3 cats to kidney failure and cancer in August 4 days apart. My remaining girl is almost 16 and was my first pet ever. As of now, I say no more because it was heartbreaking but I may change my mind about that someday.

I'm seeing it tonight! I'll look for these little secret details, but of course I'll be REALLY watching for Adam! Apparently one of Brian’s daughters is in the crowd scene when Smile was playing. I would have never known but somebody noticed. I am guessing she was in a shot with Mary if a fan noticed.

Well to be fair Star is Born opened at 10 million less than B Rhap. Sib had a lot of creative isssues. Cooper eventually became director. But I think it effected the promotion and hype. Ppl assumed it would be bad. But it’s one of the movies of the year. I think Cooper we’ll win best actor Oscar. Cos of his directorial debut is so impressive. Rami we’ll definitely be nominated. But Cooper we’ll win. Atm SIB is on 165 mill gross. No Rhap we’ll prob past that easy. There is a separate Oscar for best director. So winning the Oscar for best actor should not be dependent on the directing. IMHO, it takes a lot more acting ability to get Freddy's character and performance just right than it does to play a generic country singing drunk. I agree. Cooper was great but Rami was brilliant.

It was something about all of the people involved in making a movie and then thank you for being a fan I believe. Maybe I don’t pay attention that much to other films but this movie has some brilliant marketing and promo behind it. I’m assuming most of that is the studio but the Queen machine has to be influencing that as well. Also, in talking about movie prices, LA is nuts. I went to 4 different theaters and paid 4 different prices from $13.79 today for an IMAX matinee to $15.75 for a regular matinee to $18 for an evening regular showing to $21.99 for an evening IMAX showing. Yes, that was it. Are they showing it just before BoRhap or are they showing it before other movies also? I’m not sure but if I had to guess, probably just this one.

Before the movie started Rami came on and thanked everyone for coming to watch the movie. I thought it was really sweet. Don't remember his exact words but they were appreciative. Somebody on Twitter said that Brian is in the movie wearing yellow on top of a rig in the Live Aid scene. I'll have to see if I can find him tomorrow. Ooh really??? I’ll have to look but everything moves so fast it may be hard to see him. I hope you find him!

The rough cut had a very obvious wink by trucker guy aka Adam and there was slightly more to the scene than what was in the final version but it was still great nonetheless. I was kinda hoping for a wink or one of those side eye flirty looks Adam gives...lol....thought that might be what the New Yorker reviewer called a "laughable glance". Whatever look Adam gives came across as laughable to him. Some have called it an eye connection, somebody else on Twitter said their eye's locked. Since Patti said there are no close ups of Adam I guess he was close enough for "his look" to be seen. That scene clip on Twitter is very dark. Hate they cut some out from the original cut....guess that's normal in the editing process for length of the movie and what they feel is un-needed script. Maybe there will be an extended cut and it’s in there? There’s also another scene with Freddie towards the end that was much longer before and basically cut in half and it worked better for the flow.
