I just had a chance to read through much of yesterday's thread. I just wanted to say to Talon how much I appreciate all of your Queen knowledge and insight. Although I've been a fan of Queen since they began (but not an intense fan), I really didn't come to appreciate them as much as I do since their collaboration with Adam. The opportunity to see Brian and Roger live (three concerts in 2014) was the frosting on the cake - what talent these two have!! And seeing how much of a "family" the band seems to be is so wonderful. Since Brian and Roger are my age, I'm totally amazed at how much energy they have during these concerts. I'm so anxious for the three QAL concerts that I will attend this summer to experience all the joy of seeing Queen and Adam live once again. In my opinion, although I treasure Adam's solo career, I'm so grateful that he has had this amazing opportunity to collaborate with these rock legends. And Talon, you have made this experience so much more special through the things I've learned about Queen thanks to you!

My dearest Betty, I've been away from my computer all day, and just now saw the LUSCIOUS cakes for my birthday. Thanks so very much - I'm drooling all over the place!!
I've only skimmed the thread today (got caught up with the cakes), but I'll just add my two cents worth about the EP, LP, being dropped by WB, whatever. I choose to be optimistic about A4, and though it is very difficult, I'll be patient and wait and see what our wonderful boy gives us for new music. Whatever it is and whenever it comes, I know I'll love it!!!

Hello Atoppers, can someone help me. I'm only now trying to buy tix to the QAL concerts in the U.S. and want to know (where if you can provide me) how do I get the Promotion Code to sign up for American Express-Preferred Seating. I'm looking at possibly going to the Denver concert. Thanks for your help! Also what website did you go to to purchase tix? I went on Altitude Tickets as it shows a seating map. You use the customer service # on the back of your card. If you use the #, you must use an Am Ex to purchase. I just signed on and saw your question. Yes, you use the Altitude ticket website for the Denver concert (I'm also going to this concert), not Ticketmaster. I also used Altitude tickets when I attended Adam's TOH concert in Denver last year. As I recall (I was in the midst of ticket angst) this site isn't too horrible to use. Good luck!!

Just catching up with the latter part of yesterday's thread. Thanks, Momtomany for your on stage experiences! I have a stage seat for Kansas City, and my ticket just says "general admission". So, good to know that people will sometimes "rotate" and allow you to be in the front row - this is my first "on-stage" experience, although I have seen Adam and Adam and Queen several times. It was my DH who talked me into this stage seat (as he talked me into photo op and wonderful second row center seat in Denver for the TOH tour), so I'm very apprehensive and yet so very excited about it!) I'm seeing Adam and Queen two times before I'm in KC, so hopefully I won't be quite as starstruck to be on the stage (yeah, right). I don't think I would give up the backstage tour, even if it meant that I would wind up in the second row. It's my last QAL concert this time around (and who knows if we'll be lucky enough to have another QAL North American tour), so hopefully I'll be functional and able to fully enjoy the experience!

Good luck to everyone getting their Europe/UK tickets!!! Ticket angst is horrible, I know. I'm thrilled that Adam and Queen are doing these additional concerts. I agree with those who have posted about how beneficial this collaboration is for Adam in so many many ways. And yes, who knows if Brian and Roger will be able to tour again? I am so thankful that I'll be seeing them three times this summer - Phoenix, Denver and KC. I can't recall at the moment who said they are seeing them on their birthday (how special!), but my DH is going to the Denver concert with me, and it falls on our 21st wedding anniversary! He tolerates my Adam obsession so well and I'm so lucky that he is so supportive. We saw them in Dallas together three years ago (I went on my own to Vegas), and he really enjoyed that concert. He also attended the Glam Nation Albuquerque concert with me - sometime I'll have to post about my fainting episode at that concert. Hopefully we'll also get new music this year!!!

I think I just died...stunning! Just checking in and saw the posting of this lovely video. Thanks so much! I was at that first concert in Vegas, as well as the second one the next night at The Joint. That first concert in Vegas was my initial QAL concert, and I will never forget the impact of that night. Besides those two concerts, I was also at the Dallas concert - all three were spectacular. Can't wait for the upcoming concerts this summer! I'll be in Phoenix, Denver and Kansas City. Is it June yet?!

Ticket Master has me locked out again! Would someone bring the Phx map over please and thank you!!! Assuming you can get into the ALF site, go to "events" and click on either tickets or VIP for the Gila River Arena. This should take you to an interactive map on Ticketmaster which shows all the seats and which are available and at what price. Hope this works for you!

Whew!!!! It has been crazy for me getting these tickets! I don't do well with floor seats since it is very difficult for me to stand through the whole concert, so I go for lower level tickets (also I seem to attract very tall folks being in front of me). Am going to Phoenix, Denver and KC. My DH is very supportive, and is going to the Denver concert with me - we're in lower level closest to stage, left side facing stage, 3rd row - Hot Seat tickets. All Altitude was offering me was that left side section. My DH really encouraged me to spend the money for one stage seat (ouch!), so I have a stage seat for KC. When I purchased Phoenix I was really frazzled by this time (difficulty signing in with AXS, Altitude Tickets and Ticketmaster, even though I had pre-registered at all of them), and I don't think Ticketmaster was offering buying on the map when I bought my ticket for Phoenix (original seat about same location as Denver). Then later looked at the map and realized there were comparable seats on the opposite side of the arena (where I prefer to be), so called Ticketmaster, had them refund me the price of the first ticket, and then got a seat in Row 3, section 110, seat 5 (another Hot Seat ticket). I've spent a ton of money, but DH is going for two weeks to Australia for an astronomy party - he is an amateur astronomer. I can't fly that far due to health issues, and these crazy folks stay up most of the night and sleep during the day, which I have no interest in doing, so no big loss for me not to travel with him. These concerts are my reward for letting him take that trip!! So excited about QAL that I can hardly speak!!! Last time around I saw them in Vegas and Dallas. I figure this might very well be their last North American tour, so I'm going all out with these expensive seats!! Congrats to everyone who got good seats this morning - looking forward to meeting Glamberts on my journey to these venues - have to travel a distance to all of these concerts. Woo-hoo!!!

What a cute dog! I'm so happy for Adam! And how great that he got him from an animal shelter!
Darling dog!! Even though I'm a retired veterinarian, I'm allergic to most animals and became a veterinary pathologist because of that (no animal dander on glass slides!). I love dogs, but can't have one because of my allergies. Interestingly enough, I'm less allergic to cats, so my husband and I have a cat. I know Adam doesn't like cats, and is allergic to them (most common scenario with animal allergies), but I'm definitely both a dog and cat person, as well as a horse person. As Betty said, so happy for Adam, and adopting one from a shelter is so great - so many animals need a loving home!! I do think Pharaoh has some Basenji in him - as Q3 said, they can be a challenging breed, but are very smart - perfect for an owner like our dear Adam!

Wow - how has Adam changed my life? So many ways! I was dealing with a cancer diagnosis, surgery and recovery while Adam was on Idol. I fell in love at "Mama", and looking forward every week to what in the world he would sing next gave me joy and strength. I'm sure my connection with Adam is so much stronger because he helped me through those dark months. Other health issues have impacted me in the years since, and Adam has continued to be my beacon of light and hope during those difficult times. Listening to his music while exercising every day motivates me to keep improving my stamina and endurance.
I have become so much more knowledgeable about LGBT issues and the struggles these individuals face thanks to Adam. Even though I'm an introvert, I've become much more willing to speak up and express my opinions. I have become much more tolerant of those whose views differ from mine.
I've always been willing to travel on my own, but I have gained even more confidence while sometimes traveling alone to his concerts. And how wonderful to meet new Glamberts along the way!
Adamtopia is a daily source of joy and inspiration, knowing there are so many who share my passion for this extraordinary man. I love the diversity of opinions expressed here. Thank you so much Q3 for providing this forum!
I am a happier and more optimistic person because of Adam. He has given me so much, and I know he will continue to provide excitement, insight and love to the world, in addition to his fabulous voice. I am so grateful to have him and those who love him in my life!
