If she has paid for use of the image then I'm guessing she has distribution rights - of sorts. But why should she be credited instead of Wire Image? Not sure. Only know the basics of copyrights. I think there is a certain politeness in acknowledging where you got something from- which I think we mostly do here. I've seen us post a picture with a note that says something like- "this one's my favorite, but ninni has more at http://www......." Personally, I think its nice to give credit to someone who did the leg work to get the pictures so that they are easier for the rest of us to access. pls see my edit. |

Honestly...I just do not see the benefits of some fans deriding and denigrating other fans preferred ways of stanning. It is not my business whether someone signs a b'day card for Sauli or not...and it certainly not appropriate to go 'ewww' to them if it is not my preferred way of stanning. And I really do not think it rates a page or two of this forum. Sorry....I know we all tend to do it before thinking but I really wish it weren't so egg-shelly to be a fan on this board....there is always somebody being shot down....sigh... And I know I do it too so I resolve to try to be more like our BB and less like my mother!! sigh sigh sigh... I think an opinion is just someone's opinion as long as it is done respectfully. Does anyone know how an on-line card gets delivered to intended recipient if he doesn't have a twitter acct to get the link? :-/ In this case, IS-Tutka has Twitter account. And it doesn't take much searching to find Katri's email if necessary. |

mys*&@^#r instead of finding a computer geek could you place both ways?? We dont want to miss a single vote!! ;D I use both computers. I am usually on my desktop in the morning (Adam time) then move to my laptop later in the day. Right now, I think the 8 at 8 is the most important. That pretty much guarantees at least one play tonight and Maxwell has been spinning it twice. To answer the question Pasta Baby posed, "No" Ninni does not have ads on her site. |

Regarding the birthday card thing, people are going to make decisions based on their own comfort-level and it's all out of abundant good will/good cheer. (For me personally, a birthday message to Sauli mentioning Adam, or tweets to Adam, tukta, etc. mentioning Sauli + Adam, cross that line, although it's of course understandable). Finns who are into Big Brother or watch Tukta, have a reason to stan Sauli for his own work. Cheeks, on the other hand, is clearly marketing himself through twitter for various projects, including his short videos, music, upcoming TV guest actor spot, etc. He is actively trying to build his own fanbase, has created an online personality, and welcomes new fans however they find him. Just my two cents. ETA: LOL Adam! ;D, look at you redrawing the line a bit (or at least opening yourself up to a lot of congratulatory tweets), mazel tov! |

Y'know, people are just wishing Sauli a happy birthday and trying to trend it on Twitter. It's not as if they're taking up a collection to buy him lingerie. It ain't that deep.

BTW my intention was not to diss the goal of the NoH8 campaign, and it's great if Adam at some point does chose to do a photo w/ them. I'm all for art as a political act/consciousness raiser myself. I'd just seen tweets from fans, from the founders, and from fans retweeting the founders to Adam many times over quite some time, so I was just going through my own thought process/doing research as to why Adam may not have taken them up on it yet. Your opinion may (and should) vary, etc. |
