rabbitrabbit, excellent post. I had forgotten about that recent interview with Sauli, but I think the points he makes are worth remembering. BTW, I thought your twitlonger, the other day was excellent! Thanks  ! BTW my intention was not to diss the goal of the NoH8 campaign, and it's great if Adam at some point does chose to do a photo w/ them. I'm all for art as a political act/consciousness raiser myself. I'd just seen tweets from fans, from the founders, and from fans retweeting the founders to Adam many times over quite some time, so I was just going through my own thought process/doing research as to why Adam may not have taken them up on it yet. Your opinion may (and should) vary, etc. I thought your twitlonger was very well thought out. I never saw it as a diss on the campaign.  |

It's easier than searching for it. lol I have Adam Child, 1982-2009 Adam, Adam Pre Idol and more like that. The hard drive pic confusion is nothing compared to the Photobucket mess. |

Just checking...........I ordered GNT DVD/CD the first day it was offered on AO, and felt the order was completed, Since then, however, no confirmation, no email, no advice of date of mailing, but the purchase has gone through my credit card. I live in Western Canada , Calgary area. Do we know when the Canadian mailing will take place ? Or, how do I proceed to track this. Thanks, everyone.

Did you get an e-mail confirmation way back when you ordered? If so, click on the order number and it will take you to AO. There should be info there about where it is in the process. Good luck! I would bet that 99% of the people signing the card or trying to trend "Sauli" would not know who Sauli was if he wasn't dating Adam. Now, Sauli trending in Finland I could totally understand. Still seems silly to me. But I tend to shy away from things like this anyway, so it's probably just me. I have no opinion on the card, but I agree with someone earlier who mentioned Cheeks. I only know about him because of Adam but now he is one of my favorite people and friends I've sent his videos to can't wait for the next. I have Ferras, Cassidy, and many others on my IPod because of Adam. I'm one who sits and watches the 16 minutes of Sauli and Katri without understanding a word. I have no idea why, but it amuses me. I think each person handles all the extraneous Adam stuff differently but I don't think there's a right or wrong way unless it gets creepy. Many of us unwittingly got invested in Adam's happiness as we followed his professional rise and now it can be hard to separate the two, but what harm does it do? There are days here when subjects are discussed for 20 pages and I scroll, scroll, scroll because they are not always ADAM, exactly, but things about Adam that many of you are interested in. And that's as it should be. Like life, everyone has a different slant on what's important. As for me, anyone who makes Adam happy deserves a little TLC from his fans. JMO |
