IDK, but the AI promo machine re judges will be huge and somehow the new single message will get out IMO. I hate to say it, but it's almost September. Promo for the new judges & the new single would be about the same time. The promo for Idol won't start on TV until around the holidays, Dec to beginning of Jan. But there will be press and lots of items about the judges at the auditions. There is something almost daily, about the XF auditions. Now, to those of you that don't follow numbers, 3-4 months after a single comes out, for it to peak would be about normal. I know that probably sounds strange, but trust me, it's not. To use WWFM as an example, it came out in Nov. 2009. It went Gold the week of Feb 28, 2010. Went platinum the week of April 25th. So, in my non expert opinion the timing for this new single would be perfect. With the next new single being introduced sometime mid season (mid March?) of the show.  |
