I am just back from watching a bunch of the fan videos in the Trespassing contest. Gosh, it made me all teary eyed! These teens have Adam posters all over their walls! There are videos from everywhere! Even Iran! Many did an intro of how much Adam has inspried them. Adam is so loved! I think his "reach" has gone far beyond what he ever imagined! The response to the video contest is just wonderful. So many of Adam's fans are just as fresh, young, earnest and adorable as they can be. I would say that Trespassing in a song of empowerment that speaks strongly to a lot of people. Like you, I got very teary.

About knowing and understanding musical theory: I compare it with speaking a language and knowing how to write and read that language. You can speak it, but maybe you can't read it or write it. Then, when you learn, you suddenly understand why you delivered this or that sound, or why you used this or that verb. I don't know if I'm explaining myself or not... lol But, but, but..... Adam speaks his language beautifully, better than anyone else I can think of. Listening to this, while I am writing this And believe me, it cannot be done better, no theory of music could improve on the brilliance of simply letting 'his language' flow. Adam speaks the language of love and the language of song and they both melt and give us this. If somebody like myself wants to do anything in music, I have to study rhythms and chord structures and all this, and then practice, practice, practice...to just get to a basic level. Adam needs none of this and yet is ahead of all those that have done the studying, because he has his technical skill and versatility and then just lets it rip, let's his body and soul do the talking. Btw, it is just like with language, the comparison you make fits in the reverse way: As long as you still need to think about grammar structures and word order and conjugations, then your language will be hampered and 'Broken English' at best, both in written and spoken word alike. It is when you are fluent enough that you can let go of thinking about the grammar rules that you can express yourself freely and fluently. And there are many poets and writers in this world, who can write beautiful poetry or prose, but could never tell you the difference between a Genitive and Dative. Adam is a master at doing things instinctively right, in fact it is when he starts over-thinking things that he can go off kilter at times. He needed to stop studying his craft to find himself. He always said that. And otherwise, I totally agree with everything Q3 wrote earlier. Adam probably knows quite a bit more than he lets on, it is just that he does not stress these points and does not want to discuss or analyze his craft from this theoretical angle. I often think, would it not help him in song-writing to be able to put his hands onto a piano or guitar, just to ground himself, but he does not seem to need it or desire it. Because, I am sure he could pick it up very quickly and get it to the very basic level of supporting him in the song-writing process. It does not seem to be important to him. And in his kind of performance art, any instrument would be in his way and distract from his singing. Remember when Roger tried to put a tambourine into Adam's hands during one of the concerts. Adam literally did not know what to do with his extended arm. It was almost funny to watch. Yet he can put on a red jacket, and make it perform like an additional instrument. Different people - different talents.

Regarding purchasing Trespassing -- please wait. If Adam fans wait until there is a major event and then pile in at once it will matter. Buying now will count as a sale but will not help Trespassing move up the iTunes chart. So please wait. If we add our sales to an organic sales lift, it will matter. If we buy now, it will not move the track up. We need to ride the wave. To do that we need to wait for a while. ETA: Welcome kat111. Adamtopia is an Adam fan community but it is a discussion forum where fans post a wide range of opinions. That said, I read every post on this forum -- and I mean every post -- and there is no one writing Trespassing off here. In fact, for the most part, we have been waiting since December 2011 (or longer) to have an Adam Lambert penned song released as a single. I am thrilled with Trespassing, and this that almost all of the members here are equally happy about it. Check out our forum poll on favorite Trespassing track -- #3 was Trespassing. And it was #1 of the singles -- beaten by #1 Shady and #2 Runnin' (a bonus track very unlikely to be a single) adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=daily&action=display&thread=1095&page=1Also when appropriate, please let us know what to do if we already have Trespassing in our iTunes.. If we delete the song from our iTunes, will we then be able to order it and have it count? And how many can we buy and have count, etc.? Thanks!

I'm late to the party ...! Well , I know this time isn't a PERFECT time in Adam land . But then again , nothing is perfect , right ? blah blah next single is crucial , blah blah no idol , blah blah his first two singles didn't make it big , blah blah radio , blah blah on and on and on ...... I know that , some fans may get frustrated . I don't blame them , I get frustrated as well . But , I read today somewhere that "A hand that helps you get up when you fall down , is more meaningful and important than the millions of hands you shake when you get back up and make it" ........or something like that , i read it in Arabic . ;D And Adam is gonna make it . and make it BIG . just like Kay said . loved your post , bb after all , Adam isn't on the ground , he's standing tall and proud , but he's on a bumpy ride . He's gonna be ok . I feel it in my gut . And I will always and forever be here . Don't know about you guys , but I'm here to stay . Glambert forever . You wanna take the ride with me ?? or are you gonna give up ?? Thank you, kamar! I loved your post! Of course I will stay here and continue the ride on the Adam roller coaster with all of you! Hope that all of the other members join us again after their little breaks! Juniemoon, your little story was so funny! (...Sauli makes sweet and sour cashew tofu for lunch with a side of kale. I tweet a picture of it and watch as the fans go crazy and start to analyze what it might mean in terms of Idol rumors and any plans to tour China...) Can't wait to read how the day continued... ;D

For anyone who missed out on Arizona tickets this morning, they are still available thru the fan club website. I just searched for 1 ticket and it came up Section C, Row 11 ... I wonder where all the General Admission folks will be? Usually they get the floor and reserved is in the elevated sections ... but it looks like they are selling the floor seats reserved at the pre-sale ... ETA: Oops, I guess I spoke too soon. I still had the window open from this morning, and it searched and offered me tickets. But when I put the URL in a post and then clicked on it, the page was different. So I went back to my open page and tried to buy one of the tickets that it offered, and it said they couldn't be found. So I guess the fan club pre-sale is over ... sorry if I led you astray ...
