OK so are both Adam Lambert and Adam Levine going to be in China at the same time?Adam Levine has to change his name ,It's getting too confusing.
Maroon 5 will have their very first China concert in Shanghai next week on 9/25, our Adam will make his Chinese national TV debut on 9/30.
There was a rumor yesterday that our Adam might also make an appearance at the Voice Macau Concert on 9/21, which will be broadcast on TV later on 9/28 to half a billion people as well, but some fans on weibo (including me) were speculating if that was a mix-up with Levine 'cuz in order for Lambert to do this concert, he would be in China right now and there seemed to be no reports of his arrival in China at all!! It could very well just be a rumor and no appearance from either one of them, in any case, we'll know today. |

Why do people want Shoshanna to confirm everything? If it is already posted on Adam's Weibo. It is just about getting the accurate details about the event through the translation divide. Let's allow Shoshanna do her job and it is not to communicate back and forth with Glamberts about stuff that has already been communicated elsewhere or will clear itself up shortly.
On a different note, I love seeing that international strategy that DMG seems to be pressing forward with. South Africa, China, maybe more Asia Pacific, Australia, all set up to strengthen his position internationally rather than focusing only on that radio battle at home. US radio PDs and the hustlers behind them are powerful, but they are working very hard at making themselves a little bit less relevant each year. Which does not mean that we should not fight the radio battle as hard as we can, it just means that we should not despair if it does not work as perfectly as planned, because it is only one horse in Adam's race.

Yes, weibo is Chinese version of Twitter but with more contents and functions, more like a Twitter & Facebook combo deal.
No, Chinese nationals can not get twitter in China, with exceptions of HongKong and Macau, for the obvious reasons of promoting their own national product and better control what's going on on the net (Oh, YES! the big brother is always watching you!).
Foreigners visiting in China could access their twitter accounts depends on where you stay. |
