On a different note, I love seeing that international strategy that DMG seems to be pressing forward with. South Africa, China, maybe more Asia Pacific, Australia, all set up to strengthen his position internationally rather than focusing only on that radio battle at home. US radio PDs and the hustlers behind them are powerful, but they are working very hard at making themselves a little bit less relevant each year. Which does not mean that we should not fight the radio battle as hard as we can, it just means that we should not despair if it does not work as perfectly as planned, because it is only one horse in Adam's race. That bolded part made me laugh! Couldn't agree with all of this more. |

These international gigs are so exciting! Takes some of the sting out of US radio's lack of support thus far. I say "thus far" because the Trespassing era is nowhere near over in the US. The fat lady hasn't even picked out a song yet. No worries.
My worry now - I can't get my suitcase closed!!!

Why do people want Shoshanna to confirm everything? If it is already posted on Adam's Weibo. It is just about getting the accurate details about the event through the translation divide. Let's allow Shoshanna do her job and it is not to communicate back and forth with Glamberts about stuff that has already been communicated elsewhere or will clear itself up shortly. Yes I agree. We haven't even mentioned the massive South American market. He was No 1 in Argentina and he hasn't even been there! First Shoshanna said '"i know" with a smile which I take as a confirmation that the post on Weibo is true and she knew about it. I do agree it is unnecessary to involve her, the news was out and public. All the exposure especially in China and Japan is making me dizzy. So many clips, picture and articles! These slow days are hard to catch up.  I find it a very good strategy to have visibility in these markets and it will be heightened there when US promo is reported. I believe they will pick up the news that concerns a star they have covered earlier. Then Argentina, do you have any links of anything on that? I had the impression that Trespassing album is not realeased there. I have seen some tweets etc, so there are fans and some radio stations may have played a song or two. For a non-release there cannot be significant sales??? |

sina.com is a national news outlet not some gossip site, which operated by the government and owns weibo. In a nutshell, sina.com reached out to Adam's management and per his rep, Adam is expected to do some special guest judging duty, when asked if Adam would also perform, his rep said it could not be revealed at this moment but expect a wonderful surprise at finale from Adam. They also called him a music prodigy and a "rock god", and raved about his voice and stage presence.  |
