Okay, first. What's that about Adam going to Tallinn in June with Elton John? Can someone point me to the page where it was explained? While Adam Lambert has been singing with Queen, there has been a groundswell of support for Marc Martel, who fronts the Queen Extravaganza and is a dead ringer vocally to the late Freddie Mercury, to take the mantle of fronting the band, and Martel says he'd love to if asked. Who would you choose?You have got to be kidding me, right? It is laughable to me to think that Roger and Brian would ever ask Marc instead of Adam. Or, if Adam was not available, would even think about touring with Marc instead, after working with Adam last summer. No way! |

Who would you choose? Sorry Marc. The comments in the video are quite clear. 8-) His voice may sounds like Freddie a bit, but he's a real copy cat and some people that watched QE said that Marc didn't even sing the Queen songs that need really high notes. Another singer sang all the songs with high notes. It's obvious that he doesn't have the chop to sing all the Queen catalogue. Ohh.. I don't see the smiley box anymore :  |

Well, you never know. Talon might have a better insight about if they would do something like that or not. As a Queen fan, I hope they don't. After watching Adam with them, seeing Marc in that place would totally put me off. IMO, Marc is great... for the Extravaganza. Not for Queen. He mimics Freddie, and I don't like that. To me, it would feel sacrilegious and kinda disrespectful. But oh well, there are a lot of Queen fans who disagree. :-/ ETA: lol I don't know how to quote anymore!!!! Help!!!! |

Brian had said Adam's a keeper and Adam had given them the youth energy... No... even if Adam is not available I don't think they will chose Marc, they will just be doing their own things .. Talon said they have a lot in their plates right now. I bet both Roger and Brian knows Marc capability's not even close to Adam's. They know Adam's incredible instrument still it took Brian and Roger 2 years before asked Adam to sing with them. |

Not after touring with a vocalist who can actually hit all the notes and sing everything in their catalogue. |

Wouldn't it be weird for Brian and Roger to see someone in front of them copying Freddie? Fronting Queen and touring with Queen is not like doing some talent TV show.

Brian and Roger could have used Freddie imitators for the past 20 years. They haven't. It would be disrespectful to Freddie & IMO, their fans. They have always used people who can sing and interpret the music in their own style. They could have done those 6 shows with Martel, if they wanted to. They didn't.  |
