Well, you never know. Talon might have a better insight about if they would do something like that or not. As a Queen fan, I hope they don't. After watching Adam with them, seeing Marc in that place would totally put me off. IMO, Marc is great... for the Extravaganza. Not for Queen. He mimics Freddie, and I don't like that. To me, it would feel sacrilegious and kinda disrespectful. But oh well, there are a lot of Queen fans who disagree. :-/ ETA: lol I don't know how to quote anymore!!!! Help!!!! Just saw this in my first attempt to "search"! Figured I should chip in to this and all the responses (didn't want to build a quote tree so it's all here) Let me say that I just saw the Queen Extravaganza twice last week. I LOVE the Queen Extravaganza and I love Marc. It seems there's a few different points to answer: 1. Marc himself. Marc definitely has chops. Marc is phenomenal and one of the better singers I have EVER heard. I saw a few different rumors that I wanted to quell: a. The problem that Marc doesn't sing all the songs. He doesn't but not because he can't. QE was formed initially as a band that could recreate the studio version of Queen songs on stage with ALL the vocal overlays so the band got 4 vocalists to fit the bill...they are down to 2 now (+ Tyler Warren the drummer who takes lead on a few tracks). So he could absolutely do it. b. Marc avoids songs with high notes. Don't know where that got started but totally false. Marc sang Somebody To Love, The Show Must Go On, and the high part of Under Pressure with ease. c. Marc mimics Freddie. That's a tricky one. Mimic makes it sound like he's trying to emulate Freddie intentionally. I don't think that's necessarily the case. He does sound a lot like Freddie, but he always has - if you look at old downhere (his old band) videos he always has. So while he does sound and move a bit more like Freddie, it's just a part of Marc. d. Marc has no charsima. He isn't as naturally charismatic definitely...a bit of nerves I think. But he's definitely improving. Seeing him this year after seeing him last year, I can see quite the improvement and comfort zone improving for him. 2. Marc touring with Queen. Marc COULD absolutely tour with Queen and I think it would be quite successful. Will it happen? Absolutely no way. Brian isn't comfortable with it. Roger might have more of a comfort zone having worked with him in the QE but it just won't happen. I also don't think it should happen at all because it is a bit of blasphemy! So to sum up, I loved QAL but I love Queen Extravaganza too and I don't think any Adam fans have to worry - I'm pretty confident in saying that Queen won't tour with Marc. But there's no reason to slight Marc in fact Adam and Marc would probably have a hell of a duet!

like which song? STL? Sorry, not saying he is not a good singer. But his interpretation of Queen's songs and copying of Freddie really put me off. of coz, JMHO. STL, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Radio Gaga. There's some songs he performed that Adam didn't that sounded amazing. And again, vice versa, like he's never performed Who Wants to Live Forever. Stick them both together with a big setlist, WIN WIN NG! WHere have you been in the Queen thread? Anyways I do agree that Marc does a few songs better. I do think Marc handled STL better than Adam. I was honestly really looking fwd to Adam's Somebody To Love. I did highly enjoy it but it wasn't quite as good as I expected it to be. I agree on Crazy as well. Marc looked more comfortable there. I had a friend who is a big Adam fan who went to QE with me the other day and he thought that Marc's Show Must Go On was the best he'd ever heard ...(I personally thought it was equal to Adam's). Adam definitely handled the rocking songs better though imo. And Adam's WWTLF was one of the best performances I have ever heard...ever. So there's that

I wouldn't have seen this post otherwise (I don't usually check old threads). Thank you for the great answer, Talon! I haven't seen the Queen Extravaganza except for some videos I found here and there. Marc sounds so much like Freddie that the thought of him touring with Queen puts me off a little, I don't know. It's not intentional on my part, and it's not because of Adam (after all, I only became an Adam fan because I saw his Queen videos, and I actually saw Marc singing Queen before I saw Adam doing it). But yes, Marc is a great singer, although he kinda struggles a lot with the high notes. If I ever have the opportunity to go see him live, I will. It does seem to me like there's a little intentional emulation going on, but since you've actually seen it and I haven't, I will take your word for it. Thank you for quelling those rumours, I appreciate it. I'm curious, though. Why do you say that Brian wouldn't be comfortable touring with Marc?

I think for the same reason some are uncomfortable. He does sound and look an awful lot like Freddie....He chose not to perform with Marc at the recent Freddie tribute because it was too strange...
