Look at what he did -- Defended Gaga -- unpopular today when everyone is making egg jokes and ripping her for stealing Madonna's music. Diverted Bieber fans from the anti Esperanza campaign. Right said that Gweneth had no right to be on that stage singing. And complemented a number of people. Then closed it out with his comment about messing up his performance at the AMAs. So basically saying that shit happens. My first thought was "Damn, he's smart" but the more I think about it I think it's more a reflection of his emotional intelligence. For example, he straddled a fine line with the Gaga thing, because he's always been very public about his feelings for both Madonna and Gaga. His comment doesn't minimize that the music strongly borrows from Madonna's repertoire and yet he doesn't pile on to another artist he respects. And he finished by beating everyone else to the punch about his own award show history. I really love his brain. Me too. He seems to balance these things instinctively. But it almost always works. ETA: I am not bashing Gaga -- but she said this would be a "life changing" album etc. Then she puts out a rehash single. Mark me disappointed. I was a Gaga fan in 2008 and 2009, was a bit disappointed with Fame Monster because it really didn't seem to move much beyond Fame -- but remained a fan. The new song is a Madonna-esque song. And last night she even copied Madonna's Blonde Ambition hairdo and most of the choreo from that tour (1990). She could have at least thanked Madonna vs. Whitney Houston. And made it a 21st century homage. Then I might has forgiven the slight but sorry, if I have to pick Madonna or Gaga, I go with Madonna -- the Grand Dame. In the meantime, Gaga is laughing all the way to the bank.

Not trying to be Gaga's defender, but in terms of press, she was on 60 Minutes last night before the Grammys. Not talking about her performance, but about her work and fame in general. And isn't she supposed to be on Leno tonight? Anyway, I found nothing earth-shattering about her actual performance last night. For me, the song is a'ight, and the performance was quite good, but nothing really to talk about the next day. Did an informal poll of my colleagues, and they mostly liked it, but no one raved. The Red Carpet egg roll was just part of the "performance art" she says she lives. I don't feel like she needs to apologize or explain anything. JMHO. Not saying she needs to apologize either but address it somehow. I think what left the bad taste in my mouth is watching knowing that the interview segments on certain of those shows are not spur of the moment the impression those particular hosts were giving before the egg thing showed up was that they expected to talk to Gaga. Ryan especially looked like he was waiting for the joke to be up and made several prodding comments like he didn't really believe Gaga was not going to talk to him. Then this morning on his show he talked to the designer and she actually said that the latch was stuck but it amazingly worked when it came time for Gaga to hatch on stage. It's just entirely to convenient and I really really wish she would have done some press last night afterwards to erase that impression.

That pic takes my breath away. whew. I think that's because it was not part of a show for an audience - it's a truly loving intimate moment in time, caught on camera. Adam looks so gentle, so protective, so UNF.UNF.UNF. I can only imagine what a glorious lover he would be. ACK-embarrassed. *hides face* Had to chime in. I have been completely obsesses with this photo since last night. So adorable and sweet, yet so incredibly hot. The look on his face. UNF! That man. Gah! Thank you guys for posting this photo.... I am Grammy spent and ready to get warm and fuzzy...... this photo reminds me of this... An Affair to Remember.... Adam is Happy, this fan is Happy...Exquisite Music will be created....

mindchnger mindchnger oh wow, Adam is on the cover of Movie Star mag (Japan) for April 2011 bit.ly/gV96u92 minutes ago I know many of you collecting Adam magazines. If I recall correctly, the magazine was touting this as a collectible. It does say, special bonus poster, Adam vs Johnny (Depp). The issue has 19 pages of Adam (including back stage pictures during GNT Japan). I feel really bad I didn't translate when the teaser came out. I'd be more than happy to translate if you have any other info. ETA: Okay, NoAngel has already put me to task by posting some more info. Sorry, really a rush job and I am not really a good translator. At least you will get the gist of what is there. Pics of band and dancers right before the show Interview with new drummer Isaac Carpenter "Adam's songs are positive and tender. Lots of love" La Galarie d'ADAM LAMBERT - picture gallery of Adam Adam answers fan questions and latest interview. "Was never the type to wait for others to hit on me. I'm the one who would always go after them."

The Red Carpet egg roll was just part of the "performance art" she says she lives. I don't feel like she needs to apologize or explain anything. JMHO. I missed the 60 minutes segment. I was too busy stanning Adam. ITA, that she has no need to apologize for whatever she chooses to do. Of course, my reaction was a big : on the eggroll. I am all for freedom of expression, but not all expression hit the mark. Sometimes it works and other times it's a big fail. Own it. I liked the Perez interview. It was very open and honest. Adam liked his campy album cover. He owns that and even though Perez, and many ohers, feel that it may have been OTT he still owns it. I love the FYE album cover, but I acknowledge that it may have been too much for the general public who are not expecting that from an AI contestant. I respect that he owns that it came from where he was as a person. I understand and respect what Gaga was going for in the egg thing, but as has been posted by others, she was just hiding. Taking a fetal position and avoiding the world is not owning your decisions, it's more like a full retreat.
