These are the advices from everyone for everyone to share!1. BEFORE THE CONCERT, memorise the lyrics to Adam Lambert’s songs so that we can all sing along and out loud tomorrow! We are going to rock The Star Theatre down!
2. Prepare all the posters/banners/ yellow glowstick with black tape.
3. Drink lots of water and keep healthy so that you can enjoy to the fullest. Remember to down water tomorrow night as well but NOT TOO MUCH because you really do not want to have to visit the loo when Adam Lambert is singing …
4. Glam-dress up and get ready to partaaaaye! Wear an outfit that is fabulous AND comfortable enough to dance in! Wear eyeliner and boots if you are comfortable in them. If you are turning up in yellow and black, be careful not to resemble a bee buzz buzz.
5. AT THE CONCERT, feel the soul of Adam Lambert’s voice, scream as loud as possible but self-shriek quietly when Adam sings acoustically, and spread the glamthusiasm! Make this Singapore Concert memorable for him!
6. Since this is called the We Are Glamily Tour, Glamberts should make friends with one another! “Adam has said multiple times that one of the most rewarding thing is being able to bring people together through music to form a community” so Glamberts can have a gathering after the Singapore Concert! Also, keep sharing news of Adam with Glamberts on Facebook and Twitter in future. Glambert-relations do not just end here.
7. “Forgive the people next to you when they inevitably elbow you in the head from flailing too hard, spread love!” “There's nothing like an audience scuffle when Adam is clearly the spokesperson for spreading love all around! Be nice to others, they want it as much as you do.”
Keep them in mind and have a fantabulous good time with Adam Lambert tomorrow! #GlambertSG

I checked MJs blog the other day to see if she posted any of Adam's current concerts as she has in the past, and was surprised to see no news about them at all. I sent her the link to the Shout cover because she had previously posted Adam's Stay cover, but didn't know if she would be interested enough to post it. I just noticed that she did post the video and I found this recap in the comments from someone who was at the Hong Kong show. I thought it was interesting to get the perspective of someone in the crowd so am posting it here. MODS, I can't remember the policy about bringing stuff over, but feel free to delete if inappropriate. I was there!!!!!!
Amazing concert, Adam, never disappoints.
Here's my recap (copied from somewhere else where I'd wriiten it for friends that I wrote the minute I got home, editing errors and all) It was sooooo good.Not that big a crowd, maybe 2000? and all crowded towards
the front. Lots of young people.The show started 25mins late, but that is
pretty much on time by HK standards!!IIHY was great, really upbeat, a great
way to start the show. Lots of people seemed to know all the words to the songs
so that was good that they were real fans.Loved naked love, and especially
cuckoo, although still couldn’t see the legs properly in the dancing at the
beginning. Lots of cheers for the dancing parts, a rather drunk girl behind me
kept shouting, Adam Lambert you’re f***ing gorgeous…Shout was great, (one of my favourite Tears for fears songs) my
friends that were with me have seen Tears for fears live, and they said Adam
sang it better.And then TFM…..couldn’t believe we got that, and while it was
great and everyone sang along, my heart did drop just a little as I knew he
would be dropping either Stay or Underneath, unfortunately it was both, so that
was a bit disappointing. But only to me, not to the others that didn’t know he’d
been singing them. The Is this love went down very well too, that was one of
friends favourite of the night.The skit bit was much better live than I
thought it would be, apart from the getting dressed bit. Found my eyes on
Terrance for all of that bit, he has such cute dimples.Oh we got a new
outfit, the long black waistcoat, that was short and cut out in the back with
red. I could see all the tattoos really clearly, they looked great.
Loved the section with the top hat and fringes. That was my friends favourite
part of the show. Fever was excellent, don’t think it was toned down at all
much, still lots of the same choreography, they did a part where they were all
on the floor though, that looked pretty hot..... Its just such a great song live, so much fun.The girls
sounded a bit off during WWFM, Adam sounded greatMy friend thought that Keisha was much better as a
singer, and said she thought Reyna was off a couple of times.She loved
Johnny, thought he had a great body. And said at one point she felt that Adam
looked straight at her and she could feel herself blushing.There was a group
of maybe 6 ‘gay looking’ young men standing not far behind us ,Adam noticed them
and called them out for looking so cute, asked them to leave their details with
the security….
He did kick a couple of fur, i’m assuming pr**ks back into the crowd and said,
this is a family show, but he was laughing…didn’t stop him saying it was as hot
as balls in there though.It was great when he told the security off. They
had been fighting their way through the crowd to get people to stop recording.
Adam went off stage briefly, then came back on and told them off, and said let
everyone take pics and things, said they were putting him off, and threw a towel
in their direction, swore at them a few times. Everyone che0ered.He
interacted with a couple of bananas, then a huge stuffed banana,. Someone gave
him a bib/top thing black and yellow with a sparkling eye of horus and hia name
on I think, he put it on and wore it for the band intros.When he came out in
the fringe thing, he had the coat hangar hanging from the back…don’t know how
obvious it was from the front, but I was towards the side and could see it
clearly. He obviously didn’t know it was there, luckily Reyna noticed and took
it off when they came on the stage before he went down the stairs, they had a
laugh about it.My friend who came with me to the GNT, said she thought this
one was better. My other friend who only knew a couple of his songs, said she
thought he was gorgeous, amazing voice, but doesn’t necessarily like the music
he does.And the 2 males friends who joined us, and who were far from fans,
didn’t know why they were going, admitted he was pretty good, and had a great
voice! It is fine to bring news over from MJS or IdolForums or other public forums. DO NOT --- 1. Discuss the policies of other websites here. If you have an issue with what another site is doing, post it on that site or contact that site's administrator. 2. Treat a poster from another site disrespectfully or in any way that violates ATop guidelines. *** MJ included at least one Adam WRG concert in a combined post about several Idol alums in concert. That is good to know. Once I had brought over some information I read on MJs (Adam-related of course) but it was deleted as off-topic. I've been scared to post anything from MJs ever since. |

Was this mentioned ?...I think he's wearing the Adam Lambert flip flops. Does anyone know the story re the flip flops? Are they available to the public or special made for Adam? Sooo cute! |
