So color me stupid. Are you saying that this playlist will serve to increase counts on all the playlist items since they will play only once an hour and therefore not be "spam"? Are they all on the "official" channels that count? I don't have any specific or special knowledge about the way YT counts views. I've mostly been taking suggestions. I can't remember who suggested that Titanium play only once an hour. Several folks have asked for other videos. Q has said several times that the 40x playlist won't help. She suggested a playlist with other Adam videos. She, also, suggested adding other artists and mixing Titanium in randomly. I didn't do the last parts, mostly because I don't quite know to go about it. Perhaps, I could include songs Adam has tweeted about. I don't know. |

Now that Trespaasing has been out over a year and has played in many countries as well as here,just not radio much,I would love to know some new figures. In my mind he must have sold about 400,000 albums world wide.. He had over 310,000 months ago..How can we find out? It's so hard to get information .... It looks to me like he probably covered his costs for making Trespassing.. Right? I wonder what kind of of budget Adam has for album3.Is he really working hard on new album?It just seemed like Adam said we have to get our new music right away to we have time... Hmmmm. Wow in one day I went from wanting to know little to wanting to check Adam's bank account.. LOL color me bi-curious and mecurial. HOw do I find ITunes Gay Pride page,I've tried everything. There is no way to find out global sales of Trespassing unless RCA/Sony releases it. >> Where is the 310K from? Trespassing was at 173,639 in the US at the end of 2012 (Billboard/Nielsen Soundscan). I do not recall seeing any official number for global sales or any sales number for any other country. Even if we know how many units are sold, no one who does not work for RCA or Adam will have any idea what the Trespassing financials look like except to say it is very likely that the album has not generated enough royalties yet to cover Adam's advance. And my GUESS is that Trespassing did not have enough sales to cover RCA's investment either. The label takes the financial risk, not the artist. Label accounting is so complex and there are so many cost allocations that often the definition of "covering costs" is hard to determine. All I care about is that Adam has the go ahead for A3 with RCA. And that he is with a label that supports and believes in him. Does this mean that you can guess how much Adam's advance was and how much RCA invested in Trespassing? Is it the same for every artist who is with RCA, is it common knowledge? You don't have to tell me if it's something confidential, but I would like to know how many copies of an album have to be sold in order for RCA to cover their expenses. And yes, the A3 go ahead is a beautiful thing:))) I believe that you know what you're talking about, it's just that I find it hard to believe they would support A3 at all if they lost money with Trespassing. I hate money:(((

They're doing a "pride week" om MTV and decided Divas fits right in . Re-run tomorrow at 11pm. Today was the Tel-Aviv pride parade ( melliemom posted an article about that). YAY that's great , good for you !! I saw it on MTV Arabia on new year's eve , and then I watched the re-run the day after it . AND I saw Adam PLL episode on MBC4 , too . TWICE !! It's really ridiculous how excited I get over something Adam related that's on TV . I mean , I've already watched it online , but when I see it on TV it's like the first time , lol . |
