This private party was cancelled at the last minute before, right? Weren't they on their way to the airport or something? I would think that there was some kind of hefty cancellation fee, and Adam got paid very well even tho he did not perform. Now, it is rescheduled. Does that mean he gets paid again? What a nice pay day.

Just read through today's 9 pages and I have a question: why are we talking about the gay thing and AMA thing again? I believe this is not the first time we debated on this topic, and I really don't understand what's more to discuss. It's so old news. What has been done is done and we will never know what's gonna happen to Adam if he didn't take the same track. Also, we could not predict or prevent anything for his future career. What I know is Adam did what he did by being who he was and how he felt at that moment. And there's no one single second I regret being a fan of him. I do agree Adam is more mature now than 5 years ago, and that maturity comes from all his past experience including the AMA thing. So I just glad I discovered him and get to know this amazing human being and be able to enjoy his music journey for the rest of my life. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see anything inspiring from reliving and over-discussing on some of his unhappy moments. Adam has moved on long long time ago and I think we should do the same too. And on that note, I am back to my lurking mode.

Just my perspective, but their isint really any point of difference between his Wll performance on idol and his Ama performance. So i dont get the shock, or the backlash or even Genes comments re talking too much, i mean was i watching a different Adam Lambert on idol who sat their smiling, did what he was told, said stuff like "im Just happy to be here", which of course was met with "we dont want modest any more Adam". Hold on now my refresh my memory that wasent Al that was Kris Allen haha. Adam Lambert is the one who sat their smiling like the harmless person he is kinda like Ka conidentally  . Difference is when he hit stage, he evolved from everday man to this supernova, incarnete makeup result of some unintentional lab experiment. And suddenlly your seeing outrageous vocals, spectactlor clothes, absoloute abandoment of societies rules and its conventions, putting anyone who dared to look up from their lazyboys into resistance. So Gene says Al needs to shut up, and focus on music, Wll lucky for you gene Al agrees haha. Two big differences between Adam's Idol and the AMA performance... 1. WLL - Adam was on stage alone. AMA - Adam interacted with other performers. >> The Idol performance that really polarized viewers was Ring of Fire. But that was about the arrangement, more than the sexual expression. 2. WLL was vocally great. AMA (even according to Adam) was not his best singing. ** The only part of the AMA performance that bothered me was the part that was never broadcast -- the finger at the end of the performance. But I can see how this performance challenged some people. And I am pretty sure that Adam wanted to challenge people a bit. Frankly, in retrospect it all worked out for him, and in 10 or 20 years, I bet people will be at a loss to figure out what the big deal actually was. ** youtu.be/BhjixkuKYVo |

No, not a Make A Wish. From what I have heard, just a very rich person paying Adam his fee for a private party performance. And since that event planner said it is a 1/2 million $$ party, I imagine Adam is getting paid well. It is a private sweet 16 party. And from the bits that I know about it, it sounds like it may be more than a $500K event. And I am sure Adam is getting well paid and will not have to work to far. And I honestly cannot imagine getting to have Adam perform for my birthday but I would be very pleased in my mom wanted to surprise me with a "small" event with AL performing! SWEET 16 PARTY? OMG, What a lucky kid! Damn |
