IKR....I hope some of the young attendees take pics and vids and Instagram them out. Wish I had an extra half million bucks so I could book him for my upcoming 65th Medicare Induction Birthday Party! LOL Bamafan....can I come to your par-tay?! I was inducted into the 65th Medicare Party this year too!lol Hey! Me too! If last October counts...still within the last 12 months,eh? If enough of us Medicare Babies pooled our resources, maybe we could engage the services of a certain AFL! Or, at least, a hot DJ to play all Adam tunes... with fabulous food & a wide open bar!

“That’s going to be a career killer. I think it’s going to be over before it’s begun and it’s unfortunate because the kid’s got the pipes. There’s no questions. He should really shut up. No one cares what you do behind closed doors anyway. And if you’re putting that front and center, you’re forcing us to deal with it and it’s going to be a turnoff for the masses.” Gene Simmons believes. Adam should focus exclusively on his music right now and forget everything else, Simmons says, because that’s what fans care about exclusively. Arguably, fans would beg to differ, as they’ve shown the American Idol runner-up their most sincere support for his decision to come out publicly." I know this is going to be an unpopular comment on this board, but I have to say that Gene is right in this comment above. This is exactly what happened at the AMA's. I think Adam was okay until the AMA's and would have gone on to be the very successful pop artist that he wanted more than anything, but the AMA's happened and halted that momentum in it's tracks because he did exactly what Gene said above. He put the focus on him being gay. He put that front and center instead of focusing exclusively on his music and his voice and it was a turnoff for the masses just like Gene said. Also, I disagree with Fernandez saying it has helped Adam. I really don't understand why he thinks that. I live in the deep south and I guarantee you that there are a lot of people who want nothing to do with Adam just because he is gay. It doesn't matter how talented he is or how good looking his is. All they can see is the gay. Now granted, most people here in the south are religious too and see it as a sin, but that is also most of the country too since most of the country is religious is some way and follows the teaching of the bible. I do think Adam has gotten farther than most gay guys would since he is so ridiculously talented and good looking, but to say it has helped him to be an out gay artist is simply not true, IMHO. I do think the time is coming when coming out of the closet will seem stupid just like how stupid it looks now that we had separate bathrooms and drinking fountains for black people, but that time is still a ways away because the country has gone backwards in some ways with the christian fundamentalist push to fight evolution. I do see Adam has having found success against all odds, but he still hasn't achieved the pop star status that he wanted. That could change though because Adam doesn't seem to feel the need to put his sexuality front and center anymore. He has matured and become more grounded and is concentrating his efforts on putting his voice front and center like he did at the IHeart festival. That went a long way toward cementing Adam as a vocal powerhouse and articles are now referring to him as just that rather than the "openly gay artist". Also, the AMA's are now a fleeting memory for most people and Adam has a chance to start fresh with a new album and a new persona as the "best singer I know". Sorry but this comment only makes sense IF WWFM hadn't gone on to sell over 2M copies, land in the top 10 on the BB100, his debut album hadn't debuted at #3 and he hadn't gone onto a sold out world wide tour, ALL following the AMA performance. Please keep it respectful! StardustSorry but I think it still makes sense and I agree with Mszues's comment above. Not every Adam fan has to agree on everything about the AMA's and being told that my opinion's are worthless and sound like they come from a non fan is why I don't post much here. We should be grown up enough to discuss differing opinions without resorting to attacks.

Not every Adam fan has to agree on everything [saunters in wearing lolly covered mod hat] Nope! And lots of differing opinions is what makes things interesting!
Just keep it respectful guys. Lots of ways of viewing the same event.

I have no regrets and I hope Adam has no regrets either.IMHO Adam has one exciting life filled to the brim with all kinds of adventures, success, fans, musical experiments, travel, worldwide fame, friends, family, money, new JACKETS and so forth...I haven't heard him complain, have you? If you sell through craigslist will you be able to meet the buyer in person at a public place to exchange cash & ticket? I've done that and it worked well. I'm not sure how stub hub works, but a site called ticketsnow makes the transfer very easy if the original ticket was through ticketmaster. (The site is run by ticketmaster.) You give them the barcode numbers from your ticket, then, when the ticket sells, they provide a print-yourself type ticket for the buyer. Ticketsnow takes a % of the sale price, so be sure to price the ticket such that you recover your original cost. I think that transfer option that ticketmaster offers when you buy a ticket is not a sales transaction. It is more for sending one of the tickets you bought to a friend. However, I haven't used it so do not know for sure. peace&love Thank you noontime...I will look into ticketsnow as that looks like the best option for me. The issue with Craigslist is that the sale would almost assuredly be by someone in the Victoria area and for me to physically meet them would mean a ferry trip which is tiresome, expensive and time consuming. I thought there was an option tied to ticket master but did not know the name of it....thanks...now I just have to figure out how to access it...sure I will..and the deed is done. I am a little sad I could not help out a fellow atop member but .... it is what it is... my motto in life There is also a "RESALE" option on the TicketMaster itself. I've never used it, but when I go to my account and display a specific ticket I have 3 different option buttons,: "my tickets", "transfer", and "sell". You can probably find the Terms and Conditions for the "sell" and see how much they take and what the payment mechanism is...

[snorts] Hey guys - according to the packaging its appropriate for ages 6 and up!!! Ok, I'm gonna start appreciating Adam's merchandise more. We get pretty artwork, and Adam doesn't try to pander wacky stuff to little kids.

Thanks nica575 .... mods, I would keep or make this private but there may be others with some of these same questions and concerns...and it is a slow day. If you would like me to cease this, let me know. I have just spent ages trying to find just that...a 'sell' link or option but to no avail...I even went so far as to input my credit card info waiting for that link to show up but it has not....the other two including the 'transfer' yes but not the sell. Perhaps that is because both I and the concert are in Canada and so then, I am on the Ticketmaster.ca site. Has any Canuck tried this? I have now sent an email to their customer help person so if peeps would like, I will post their answer. I know I can to ahead and use stub hub but I am like a dog with a bone now ..... grrr... frustrates me when sites offer an option it seems impossible to find. It is like people that try to announce a garage sale and leave off the address or the date, or that list shoes or clothing and neglect to state the size....you know what I mean!! Like REALLY?? sheesh....
