Little mini rant: I have to tell you guys, with our house up for sale, its been hectic with showings. By the way I'm happy about this. But some of the peeps that view and their comments, is really disconcerting. We have a beautiful home and we tend to be very modern and a little colorful and have a lot of artwork and art we picked up in our travels. By the way, in the south all homes are colorful with the wall painting. Several ladies came thru and the feedback was they couldn't get past our decor and furniture to look at the house. We have a huge kitchen with lots of cabinets and a huge center island. The same lady asked why the cabinets on top were a different color than on the bottom. Duh, the latest and greatest kitchen are all doing this, along with when you have so many cabinets, you need to break it up. I want to tear my frakkin hair out. I know Rakistan the idjuts. smokeyvera, went through that too with the sale of one house. My ex and I like color..many people don't. So they will comment. But the house sold to the right buyer..we got our price and all was well. So I wish you the best. It is disconcerting when you have such pride in your home. I had to let comments slide off. I now live in a place that has NO color on the walls and I am renting so cannae do squat about it, but I have some wam bam art on the walls!! Good luck! Yep--we went through the same thing, smokeyvera, and now our new house is all neutrals and I am missing my color (will fix that problem shortly). But it is true, the right buyer will come along - no doubt about it. hang in there and rant with us anytime!!

Here I am again... slept a couple of hours and now taking a (brave) snack. Although I missed the original list of symptoms, I have gathered that you are not 100 percent for which I am sad. :( From the hints it sounds perhaps like an intestinal issue so I will pass along what every pediatrician I have ever met told me to do when my sons were sick .... the B.R.A.T. diet. Personally I think pediatricians are just looking for a good excuse to call children brats but it did seem to work. It stands for B - bananas (a binding medium) R - rice (also binding) A - applesauce (probably just because kids like it) T - toast (mild, stays down, and adsorbs bad stuff).
Probably more than you wanted to know but I hope it helps. LOL, thanks . I've gone through the B, and crispbread instead of T. After the couple of first hours there really wasn't anything left to bind, completely empty system. But it's getting better, got to try to just eat/drink more every couple of hours as I have diabetes which makes sometimes this sort of things a bit tricky to handle.

I received the email and included my name in the Subject Line as instructed and my address in the text field. I'll just wait a while longer and hope it shows up. That is what I am going to do also. Thanks for replying!! This process will take awhile I believe

I have a friend who is an extremely successful real estate agent. The first thing she "requests" sellers do is repaint all walls in a neutral color. I hate it, but is is what you are supposed to do.... how depressing is that? Believe it or not, I actually repainted and did all neutral colors with a few accent walls of color. I guess the accent walls did them in. I think it was also the modern furniture and the art. Traditional home but urban modern. They sound like a wallpaper kind of peeps. My real estate agent also has a designer come with her when they list, so they can go thru the home and stage. They said it was the first time ever they didn't have to stage and said the colors were so minimal, just enough for some warmth. She said she wished that all peeps prepared like I did for a sale. I spent one month of in the prep. Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. Today was not a good day.

GlamFansUnite GlamFansUnite.com RT lyndseyparker Adam Shankman why he didn't cast Constantine in the 'Rock Of Ages' yhoo.it/gwUWKN <--Adam mentioned around 3:00 Constantne's Tony Award - There was a lot of talk in the theater world a couple of years ago about his win. Another show, I think it was Nine to Five (not 100% sure anymore) was supposed to get the Tony but due to some behind-the-scenes politics, Nine to Five was "punished" and Constantine got the Tony. We have a weekly show called "Theater Talk" here in NYC that has diff critics/actors/producers who talk about the shows. At the time, they basically thought Constantine's win was a joke. When Adam was on Idol, Constantine mentioned in the press how Adam had auditioned for Rock of Ages but he, Constantine, was the one who got the part. He was nominated in 2009 but he didn't win. Check Tony Awards site.

Smokeyvera, remember BB's words..."Anytime anybody tells you NO color, tell them "F#$% YOU"!! ;D Your home sounds beautiful and alive with color and energy!! The right people will appreciate and buy your home.

smokeyvera, I know you have worked very hard to prepare your home for sale. The fact that your real estate broker did not have to stage anything says that you have an eye for design. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. I say it again..the right buyer will come for this home!!
